I would just make sure you aren't exercising on an empty stomach - preferably fueling with proteins and simple carbs 30-60 minutes prior to exercising. Get lots of water ahead of time and hopefully that should help it. Chat with your GP though just to be sure.
Lost 65lbs in 15 months to get healthy and in top shape to try to get pregnant, and succeeded! Had our first baby in February 2013!
I only gained 32lbs in my pregnancy (and immediately lost half within a few weeks of his birth). April 1st is my full restart date.
I stopped taking mine recently because it makes my kidneys hurt and makes me sleepy. I feel better when I am not on it :(
I would definitely ask your doctor what they think.

I was prescribed metformin several years ago and it jumpstarted my weight loss. After reading that diet and exercise are the best things to lower insulin resistance i stopped my metformin and lost quit a bit more weight on my own... Recently i have plateaued and even gained a little weight back. So i decided to go back on my metformin. It is killing my workouts . I feel fatigued and my muscles feel very weak. I also feel much more sore after my workouts. Has anyone else experienced this problem on metformin? I think i need to ask my gyno if he believes i should still be on it
