HI - I just had my second acupuncture session last week. I don't know if it's just in my mind, but I already seem to feel better. I've started acupuncture to hopefully help with my PCOS systems along with seeing a Chiropractor. I had never seen a chiropracto either, but they know each other and felt that completing these treatments in conjunction with each other that it may help. Nothing to lose and loving it so far. I have more energy and have been sleeping better. Would love to hear how anyone's else's treatment is going. Glenna
I've had acupuncture sessions for a year or so a couple years ago. I just have a busier schedule now and she's always so booked, so I don't go anymore. But when I did go, my cycles became more regular although I did not notice any weight loss in particular. But it's very relaxing and you'll feel like you just want to sleep afterwards. If your acupuncturist does this, I highly recommend "cupping". It feels like a massage but what they really do is rub suction cups across your back. They say it increases blood flow and removes toxins. But for me, it relieved the tension in my left shoulder and felt so much better afterwards. Highly recommend this practice!!
I have decided to take as natural an approach to pcos as possible since i am TTC 2 years and the Dr.s way did not work so i am trying to lose weight which i know can be a major issue but also was wondering about Acupuncture i have heard it mentioned a few times with pcos but has anyone tried it does it make a difference or help symptoms anything would help thanks in advance.
