What is normal for one person with PCOS isn't necessary the case for someone else who has the same condition - so its always best to see your GYN or GP when it comes to reproductive matters.

I went years without a cycle and that was normal for me, since I had next to no build up on uterine lining to speak of and by age 18 my lining wasn't building up or when it did it shed so fast that the cycle lasted all of a few hours if I was lucky a couple times a year.

So that was normal for me, but for almost anyone else that would warrant seeing their doc because it wouldn't be the case in most cases.

In my opinion, anything that is bothering you is something to go to the doctor about. It could be nothing, it could be something normal...or it could be something more. You dont know unless you ask. I always feel its better to know than to lose sleep over it. Good Luck!

there might be some TMI here, just so you know....

the only treatment i have for PCOS is vitex. my cycles tend to be fairly irregular, but the last several (other than this one) were between 30 and 35 days long. i'm now in at day 52 for this one. during those 30-something cycles, i observed the progression of cervical mucus from dry to egg white and back to fairly dry. but THIS cycle, i've had creamy CM literally since my last period ended. my cervix is usually quite high, and it was up until a week or so ago - now it's super low. i've been having light cramping for a couple weeks now, but i haven't had any bleeding at all. i don't have a regular dr, but does this sound like something that i should try to see a dr about? or does it sound like standard goofy PCOSer cycles? i've never had something quite like this happen - my cycles are usually irregular, but it's been years since i've had "normal" length cycles back to back like that....and the length of my cycles usually changes more gradually. like....a 30 day cycle, a 39 day cycle, a 46 day cycle, a 43 day cycle....not 31, 33, 32, 50 something. and i hardly ever have cramps....and when i do, it's only the day before my period and then the first couple days of it. i'm so confused.
