I eat alot less on it so it's only a matter of time before I start dropping weight I hope. I don't have much to lose which makes it even harder. It's always that last 10 to 15 lbs that kills ya. What I have noticed is that I'm getting smaller, even though I'm not losing. My pants are loser than they were before. I don't care so much about what I weigh as I care about fitting into my clothes (ha ha)!

My endo just suggested Byetta to me, but I wanted to research it a bit first. I am a little hesitant to inject myself twice a day. I was diagnosed a few years ago with PCOS. It took me a year and half to get the drs to listen to me, but I gained 50 pounds in about 3-4 months. I was able to lose 25 pounds of it, but last year the 25 pounds came back and won't budge! No matter what I do! I have always worked out regularly and it is quite frustrating! Now I am borderline diabetic and she suggested Byetta. I really hope it makes me lose weight. Anyone able to lose weight on it?

Thanks

Metformin never helped me lose weight either. I no longer am on it, but I am doing well without it actually and will not need to be on it again. That is great for me, since I do take a lot of other meds!

Guess I have a gut of steel because it hasn't bothered me a bit. I've been on metformin FOREVER and that didn't incite weight loss either. Guess my body's just stubborn (grin).

I tried it about a year ago, and had problems with severe nausea from it. It's only been since I started taking Metformin over the summer that I'm able to lose weight for the first time in years. Is anyone on Byetta? I started taking it almost two months ago and while it really controls my appetite, I've seen no weight loss from it. Just curious if there are others out there experiencing the same frustration as I am with it. There are plenty of co-workers of mine who have lost 40+ lbs with it.
