That has happened to me, too. My nipples will be so sensitive that wearing a bra HURTS. It never lasts for too long, but I have no idea why that happens. I've got very large breasts so I always thought it was related(too much bounce) but who knows. The things we deal with....
I took Provera this last month to induce my period and i had more breast/nipple tenderness than i think i have ever had before!
When i worked out, this is prob TMI, a couple times my nipples would retract, freeze up and get so hard i could hardly stand it! It hurt so bad!!! I was wearing 2 bras and the movement from working out was hurting so bad i had to put my arm under the girls to keep them from moving as much!
I didn't take anything for it - as it just went away after AF was gone!

I thank God every day for giving us a body that is forgiving. A body that was once not properly taken care of, and seemed to be the enemy, is now the vessel for ability, determination and success - and most importantly - Happiness! - Me :)
Hey, I always have breast tenderness around my period. It got really bad for a while so I mentioned it to my obgyn. The doctor actually had a name for the condition but I don't remember what it was... they are almost cystic, but nothing major. He recommended that I take an Evening Primrose Oil supplement and also vitamin E. I got the larger dose pill(I think 1000mg) from GNC and it helped tremendously. I actually stopped taking it a few months ago when I ran out and I still don't have that pain anymore. I think I am eating a more balanced diet now so I don't need the supplement as much, but I highly recommend it!
I've been on a hormone to force a period for almost a year now, and I've lost 27 pounds. Yesterday and today my breasts (especially any pressure around the nipples) are soooo sensitive. I've never had this with any periods before. I kept waking myself up last night because of the pain. Has anyone else noticed that their pms symptoms get worse when they're actually having a period? It's so weird that this is what I'm trying to acheive!!
