Water, my man! If you drink iced tea or juice or milk don't really change that, but completely 115% REPLACE all and every single soda of your diet with yummy refreshing cold WATER. After only a couple days sometimes a week you'll FEEL the difference and go whoa, if i go back and drink a soda it makes me feel like crap. And the lack of presence of 2 huge enemies (sugar, and high fructose corn syrup) will really help you see and feel the weight loss results fast. This one teeny tiny itty bitty minute small swap-out will give you dramatic fast results you will see and Feel. It also helps you feel a bit more revived to take on more workouts. Never pick up another soda again dude. if you go to a restaurant and all they have under beverages is pepsi products or coke products which is mostly all soda, choose water. or even an unsweet tea or a lemonade. do yourself a favor and say goodbye to soda. after as little as a week you'll welcome the change and feel that soda is nasty, but right now i bet its your best friend. i was the same way. try it! water my man, go for the water, it's GREAT STUFF!

I never have read that book...but I have read several articles on Sparkpeople that say not to get too down on yourself. I've gotten better over the passed two or three weeks and I just need to continue with that. I'm down 11 pounds! (even though my meter doesn't reflect that just yet)

Thanks for the support!

I did the same thing this past weekend. I had three parties to attend and I blew my diet on all of them. There went all my hard work that I did through the week. I think we just need to put the weekend and for me the beginning of this week behind us and start fresh. Have you ever read Dr OZ book you on a diet? He says to do the u turn and restart.Let's do better this weekend.

Ok...

So this last weekend was the first that my fiance spent at her new job and I was all by myself. I had an opportunity to be good and I blew it big time.

For some reason my laziness in preparing my own meals is a staggering cause to why I think I'm overweight. I make good money so I have always been content to go to somewhere that prepare's the meal for you. Now, saving for a house and a wedding, I'm trying to overcome my own laziness for more than one reason.

I basically went out to eat to two different burger joints and then followed up with hardly anything but soda all day long. By the end of the weekend, I had probably put on any weight that I might have lost during the week while eating well and working out.

At any rate, there's my confession. Words of advice are welcome :(.
