I didn't hit my goal... but I've still have lost consistently. I'm happy with where things are going. I just need to stay on top of things and watch what i eat and how much i exercise!

Didn't meet my weight goal, but I did start losing again, and I've met my goal of creating some healthy habits. (Walking at lunchtime a few times a week, taking my medicine regularly) So now that I'm slowly moving forward again, I'm looking forward to the next challenge!

I did not quite make my goal, but I did make progress! :) I am sure that all the asthma/allergy stuff leading to being on steroids and not being able to exercise where huge factors in not making it... Oh well keep on going!

I met and surpassed my goal of being at 165 by Labor Day. I admit I was kind of hoping to be at 160 by today, but I'm at 161.7. Still, at least I met my goal!

WTG Starr!

Well with all the medical stuff and medications and DRs orders to not exercise it doens't look like I am going to meet my goal of 183.5 lbs for Labor Day :( I am dissapointed but at the same time - medical crap for me sucks usually.

Anyhow can not wait to see how we all turn out for this next week!

I haven't lost weight, but I haven't gained either this past week. (I've been on vacation, so that's a relief.) However, I did get in some type of exercise every day on vacation - laps in the pool, tennis, walking miles around a theme park. If that was how I could exercise every day I'd be set!

I think Goldfish and bagel chips are a big improvement over Oreos and Ho-Hos!! I buy the whole grain Goldfish - really not a bad snack food! Congrats on your progress, DEBIED!

I've been doing great with my exercising since hubby bought me a treadmill. I've had a few rough patches with eating, but it's getting better. Instead of oreos or ho-hos I've been noshing on goldfish and bagel chips. Not much better, but a little. Baby steps. I saw some movement with the measurements this week: lost 1.5 inches from thigh and 1.25 inches from belly compared to 2 weeks ago. I hope to see the same 2 weeks from now.

I think I am doing better than I thought I would. I want to lose my first 10% which is at 198 and I am at 201 right now so I am hoping that I will pass that up and be closer to 195 or so emoticon

So, how is everyone doing so far? Not too much longer to go on this challenge!

My goal is to reach my next 10% goal which is 183.5 lbs. I am currently at 187.6 lbs so I think that my goal is still attainable!

I've been doing really well as far as eating goes. I've cut back on sugar a lot, and haven't visited the candy machine in at least 2 weeks. It's been so humid that it makes getting up early to work out really difficult. But my goal was to wear my belt at the third notch, which I did all day yesterday! So my next goal will be to wear it at the 5th notch, which is as far as it goes. I'll reward myself with....a new belt!

Well I had been really working hard to stay on target to meet my goal of loosing 10%. I started exercising 4 days a week plus my daily walks with my dog. Unfortunately, adding the excercise slowed my weight loss....so I am trying not to get discouraged and focus on how good I feel after exercising.

Elle I know how you feel. The scale can really mess with your mind. I lost 2 pounds the other day and today they say they're back and I have no earthly idea why they would be. I'm not changing mine either. I'm also gonna stop staring at my scale everyday. I'm only gonna weigh in on weigh in day!

ok so i accidentally posted somnewhere else on the challenge board..or topic thing...Im new to this group...and kinda to sp. This challenge sounds good. I needed a short term thing to kick my butt in the right direction. My Goal is gonna be down 2 in. in my waist by sept. 3! as well as be at 181. which is 2 lbs. a week from todays weigh in. So I've been contemplating this Labor Day Challenge. Large goals are extremely difficult for me to achieve. I'm trying to focus on small goals. We are 8-weeks out right now. I'm going to shoot for a 10 pound loss for then. It's a little over a pound a week. If I lose more, then YIPPIE!

I'm new, but I definitely need a challenge. I'm not going for pounds although that would be a good thing too. I find my most noticeable diffence is in clothes. I have a pair of jeans that I love, but right now can't wear. I want to wear them by Sept. 3rd. And just to make it more tangible, I'll say I need to lose at least 10 pounds to do it.

I'm in Stephanie!

I'm just going to adjust my goal, it's 180 now.. It's what the site said I could loose @ 2 lbs a week by Sept 3rd...

I'll try that, it's a bit more realistic then my other one. And who knows, maybe I can beat it if I can get off my butt and get exercise to be a regular thing...

I am up for the challenge. This is just what I need to get motivated. Since I am just getting started my goal will be 10% lost

I'd like to reach 200 lbs by Labor Day... maybe this will boost my energy back up... I've slacked off a bit and I can tell. I really need to start exercising more often!

I thought that a challenge for Labor Day might be fun and productive. Labor day is Spetember 3rd and is the last big hurrah of Summer for many people.

Make this challenge work for you - clothing size, weight, measurements, etc all are acceptable! Pick what will motivate you most to show a loss this Summer.
