I'll never be a runner, thanks to bad knees (surgeries on both legs) and bad ankles (torn ligaments in both), but I do have to start exercising this week. My BF and I joined the new Planet Fitness opening in our town, and after several delays, they finally got their occupancy permit on Friday. Today will be our first trip over there.
Hi there, I "just" started running this week! I use my treadmill everyday, usually on walk mode set on random/interval with a max walk speed of 3.6 mph. I "upped" the max speed to 4.3 and alternate walking and running for a 30 minutes session, (running 1 1/2 min then walking 1 1/2 min) I've done this since last monday..everyday. I don't think i'll do a 5k.(what is that anyway), but i would like to eventually run in public. Good luck ..keep running, Chris
i've tried getting myself ready for a 5k on my own, but work better with a good plan. so, even though I could run half and walk half, I am starting at the beginning. w1 for me! Hope everyone else is walking and running well! to the 5k
