Trying for 2 hours + but since it's raiing, not always that. Will it be to maintain your weight through this crazy time? Partly, but lose also. Will it be ... You tell us!!

I have trouble remembering to get all my 8 glasses of water when I'm not at my desking working. So other than not gaining weight this month, I am also going to make sure I drink my water every day no matter where I am.

OK, so I would really love to say that I want to lose 10 pounds before Christmas (instead of the 10 that I usually gain, haha!) But I know what the reality is at my house this time of year. My husband is in law school finals. I work more hours in December. We have to do Christmas shopping and go to work parties and church socials, and it's just craziness around here. SO, here's my goal for the holidays:
1. Exercise at least 210 minutes a week (or 30 minutes a day). If I miss one day, I have to do double the next day. 2. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. 3. I'm not going to limit myself to a strict diet this month, but I AM going to force myself to write everything down! 4. At least 2 veggies a day. 5. Maintain my current weight at the very least. If I lose, that's great, but I want to at least maintain!
I forgot about making this challege for myself. I guess since I made it back in November is why I forgot....I still have a chance though. My goal was 240 by new years and I'm 246 now....losing another 6 pounds is still possible kinda
I am going to work on getting more exercise. I slacked off and didn't make it to the gym ONCE in Nov!!!! So busy with my regular job and then had to make a ton of x-mas cards for the photographer. The x-mas cards will probably continue for a few more weeks and there will be some even the week before, but I'm not putting in as much ot at work right now. So I am going to pack my gym bag tonight and bringing it to work with me! Then I have no excuse to not go right after work! With this goal I can hopefully counter act any bad eating at gatherings and at least maintain if not lose some more! NO EXCUSES! I have to make myself accountable! Stephanie - Good challenge! And here is my nebulous response. My goal may be to maintain - but mostly, my goal is to make discerning eating choices when at family and social gathering! It is SO easy for me to give in and eat things that aren't all that special to me, because I am bring watched, someone made the effort, etc - instead of because it is worth the calories to me!
And a little report already... I went to a retirement luncheon today. I picked the shrimp w/ gnocci (what sounded good to me and didn't come w/ a cream sauce) and save ~2/5 of the entre for a lunch later. I ate the whole dessert, BUT it WAS worth the calories! So far, OK...
My weight loss has kind of stalled so I am going to kick up my exercise program a bit. I am going to exercise atleast 5 days a week, and I added an extra dance class so I have dance class 3 days a week. I want to lose atleast another 5 lbs before xmas so I can buy some new clothes!
