Hi, I'm sure I'm about to tell you all something you already know, but I came across this post while looking for info on tracking couch to 5k. I'm starting tomorrow and just discovered that there is a Couch to 5K app for Android!! I'm sure there's one for iphone too, not sure about Windows phones... Just thought I'd add this little tidbit! The app is pretty cool-the playlist feature integrates with music already on your phone, and there is a "halfway" feature that tells you when you are half way through your route, so you can turn around. Yay!

I use http://www.endomondo.com/home app. It runs on many phones and devices. It uploads the results to the website so you can track your progress. Its free there is a pay version which five dollars and helps the developers.
I have a heart rate monitor watch (no chest band) and it keeps track of the calories burned for me as long as I check my heart rate often through out the session. It's a mio and I think I paid no more than $30 for it. :o)
Does anyone have advice for how to track how many calories burned when you are doing the couch to 5K plan? I don't have any fancy equipment--just use my cell phone when I'm walking/running to time myself, and I don't know the best way to enter it here on the site for cardio because I don't know how far I've gone.....time for a pedometer?
