Week 2 Day 3. 5 Miles in 55 minutes around the track. 10 minute stretch. I also walked to and from the park (2.5 miles each way).

This is Week 2, Day 2 for me. I walked 3.33 miles in 59 minutes.

W2D1 was done with a 25 minute walk. Total distance is 1.5 miles.

Had a nice surprise on sunday Hubs had arranged for a river cruise , and a night out at a hotel in the city the only problem is i didnt get much sleep sunday night ( bed was way 2 soft ) so i woke up monday knackered and couldnt for the life of me go for a run ill go today for W2D2
feel like i let myself down a bit .
keep up the good work guys xx

Got a bit sidelined by weather in the first part of the week and now the tummy bug going around. I'll be continuing with Week 2 once I can start out again this coming week.

Good for you! Weather has been whacky here this week. So far only able to have done one Day this week and that was on the treadmill at work. But still I did it. Looking like I will have to run today (Saturday) and Sunday if I feel like it. Haven't run in really cold temp's yet. That will be an adventure for my lungs. Yikes

Hi Guys,
W2D1 down for me.
Not 2 bad was going great and pulled the head set out my ears lol.
If I'm not pulling off my safety cord its now the headset lol any how the most important thing is I'm doing something.
I told myself to have a go at week 2 and if it was 2 bad id go back to week 1 but I`m so glad i did it. emoticon

I was going to give the same advice as HOPEFULHIPPO. I decided I was going to go at my speed whatever speed that was and not force myself to progress as the Weeks or Days did. If I have to stay on a Week for 2 or more weeks then I will.

All that matters is that I am out there doing it and enjoying it. Enjoying it being the key for me! Last go around several years ago, I was bound and determined to run not jog when they said run and I stopped before starting Week 2. My muscles and joints were killing me. Where is the fun in that? New attitude this time around and my body is loving the Granny Trot run and as I said I am enjoying it. I actually was looking forward to Week 2 Day 1 today! Gasp!!! emoticon

You can do it! Yes, staying hydrated is very important and if you find you have to ....restart the week. I've done week 4 so many times. LOL

So this is my second week and yesterday was was my week 2 day 1 and I did my 5 mintue warm up walk I was think that this was going to be easy because you had a 2 minute walk inbetween the runs... Well it wasnt as easy as I thought but I am not sure if it was because I didnt get enough water intake yesterday. My legs started to cramp or burn in after the first run section and that caused me to get my breathing off track.. I hope that tomorrow it will be better and today I have ampted up my water intake. I read the week 3 instructions and I am a little afraid that I wont be able to do it... We will have to see!
