I've had to start over on the C25K program after an injury. I've started the 8 week, because I don't run regularly, and need to start slow....injury prone...so my PT said that this would be a good idea, since it builds up my tolerance more slowly.
Anyway, I'm not always in a position to do the running workouts every other day, and it may take me 2 weeks to be able to do the recommended 3 'runs' for each week. So, I end up with 2 or 3 cross training days in between my 'runs'.
So, is it just going to take me longer? I still do one day per week completely off. I cycle or walk or dance or yoga or swim for my cross training. I'm working into weights next week. I wanted to learn to do them properly, so I got an appt. with a trainer at the park dist to go over them.
