Never seen this thread before; interesting idea :-)
My refrigerator would often describe me as wilting green stuff, LOL. Or, an appleholic? There's always apples. The lemons and limes don't fare as well and the sometimes fruits, blueberries at the moment, can get moldy too. There is usually beer :-) and my V-8, mandarin oranges in juice for if I make a salad; one of the few fruits DH really likes. There's often carrots, I can snack on those raw if I'm feeling lazy; I don't even peel them, just wash them well. I've begun getting more organic stuff after reading a few articles; I can afford them so why not.
There's two gallon-sized milks in the door; my nonfat Lactaid milk and DH's 2% regular milk. There's always eggs and DH has a drawer with his meats; breakfast sausage, hot dogs, sliced ham and turkey, his American cheese. I sometimes have Coke, the tiny 7.5 oz. cans and DH always has regular, 12 oz. Sprites. There's the usual condiments and a couple that were bought for special recipes and eventually will probably be thrown out.
Between the great things we cannot do and the small things we will not do, the danger is that we shall do nothing. ~Adolphe Monod
