Wow it has been awhile since i posted my weigh in. i have lost another 2 pounds this week. that brings me to a total of 145 pounds lost since joining jan'09
I made my 140 pounds lost 2 days after the 1yr mark. I only have 10 pounds to my goal of being 225 pounds. which means i only have 8 pounds to go to get out of the overweight milestone and becoming Healthy according to my BMI.

Lost again this week, it was only .3 pounds (almost a half a pound) but it is still a loss of weight. So far so good!

Well, the holidays were good to me. I lost a half a pound the week before Christmas and 1.1 pounds the week of Christmas! I am so happy to say I am keeping up on my weight loss. Just wanted to share.

Wow - you all are doing great!
Me - I've decided to jump back on the wagon and plan on staying this time.
Accomplishments - um, not so much in terms of weight - BUT I moved, decluttered (AFTER I moved of course!) and am STILL in the process of remodeling the building - this may be a forever thing? Geez! I sure hope not!
My weight soared back up over 200 again - to 210 at one point - but is now back to 194 pounds and I've reset goals, etc., am planning my meals again and have vowed to stay away from s'mores cooked in the microwave! along with McD's, and all other kind of restaurants (because I have NO sense!)
Along the exercise line - I did go to Physical therapy - and do have exercises there - unfortunately, I haven't done them for the last 2 weeks - and boy can I tell it! So - it's back on the wagon again in that regard!

I lost another 1.2 pounds this past week just under 2 pounds to get 140 pounds lost by years end.

Thank you Kenny. I think you are right. I will have to see if the person that buys our kitchen beverages would see if she can find the low sodium V8 in the 12 ounce bottles. I am now ambitious to see how my weekend goes but I am very much in a great state of mind.

I had another great day both calorie wise and exercise wise. I did 30 minutes of fat blasting yoga last night before bed and it actually helped me sleep. I also did over 2.5 miles today walking and about a mile and a half was during a 30 minute walk to the coffee shop where I was good and did not get a bad for me coffee. By the end of the day I had not used much of my 1600 calories so I had fried fish and fries for dinner and it STILL did not put me over my calories. I was really happy about that. I skipped desert like a good boy and it just makes me happy that I am sticking to my own diet and not cheating. I am not depriving myself either so that is good because that mean no binging. I found a great snack in V8 juice today. It is filling and I get veggie servings from it too. It is a bit high in sodium but I offeset that with 4 glasses of water. I feel so accomplished today. Tomorrow will be another yoga session or two and some walking. This is my first weekend of my diet and wellness plan so we shall see how it goes. I have friends coming up this weekend so I am still going to stick to my wellness guns! Hope you all had a fantastic Friday!

I have lost another 5 pounds these last 2 weeks. I am down 135 pounds since Jan. I will just miss my goal of 160 loss by Christmas. But I am hoping to be closer by my 1yr sparkiversary on Jan 8 2010

At the end of June I went to a personal trainer and got a fitness assessment and a workout program. We've been working together about a month now, and he re-tested my bodyfat today. I dropped 5% in a month! I started at 32% (yikes!) and am now down to a much healthier 27%.
I'm looking forward to seeing what results the next month will bring!

I actually finished a 3 1/2 month strength training rotation. I did the Cathe Friedrich STS program. This was the first time I've ever finished a rotation.
I loved my results. It wasn't so much about the weight loss, but my clothes are looser. And, I can now do bicep curls with 20 pound dumbbells.

I still do not feel at my best, but felt okay so I went to my personal training appointment. I may not have matched what I did on Monday, but I completed the entire session and burned 385 calories in the process.
I keep telling my kids the winner is not who comes in first (necessarily) but whoever does their best no matter what. Today I am a winner!

Last night hubby ordered Chinese food didn't even look at it. I was proud of myself b/c I was not even tempted to see what he had ordered.
Keep up the great work! Just remember that if you deny yourself you could end up overeating in the end. Maybe next time if you feel the need have one small piece. Good luck!

I turned down Free Pizza from my Favorite place yesterday. It was a party at work for everyone and the smell of the pizza had me drooling! I was so proud of myself that I just had the salad and No dressing! :)

Wow, smoke free is a wonderful achievement. That takes some real work.
Keep using your skills and make use of the tools available here and you will meet your goals. I find the nutrition tracker is the most important thing for weight loss, and the fitness tracker is important for feeling strong and healthy. But most important, the team message boards for support!

I lifted heavier today than I have, well, that I can remember. I've been working hard on my upper body but I didn't realize I could do more until I hired the personal trainer. Only a week in and I'm already stronger than I thought I could be now that I'm over 40. I'm stronger now than when I was 20, and I was no slouch then!

Last year before I was diagnosed and treated for carcinoid cancer, I was only able to walk 2 miles at the Relay for Life event. This year, after my treatment, I was able to walk 9 miles!!! I might have been able to do more, but my body was starting to make groaning noises, so I heeded the warnings.

You guys are all doing so well with the graduation cakes and friends' visits! Weather is fabulous in Michigan on the lake. Not so hard to do right when I'm with my supportive sister, but I have a couple of friends I'll be seeing next week whose lives revolve around food, so that will be a challenge. Love these people but. . . .

Thanks Lab-Lover and Gr8r for help with the icons. Haven't had a minute to do the work yet. Accomplishments!? Actually, not to blow my own horn or anything, but I was incredible on so many fronts, I can't believe everything I've accomplished in the last three days.
