I have been good staying in my calorie range most of the time. I mess up if I do not have a protein for breakfast. Today i am Ok so far. ( 1540)

My goals for October are to prepare for the upcoming Holiday temptations by forming better habits now. They include:

1. Reducing sweets/treats/sugar intake.
2. Exercising stricter Portion Control.
3. Increasing my Vegetable and Fruit servings more consistently.
4. Planning, preparing, and cooking more homemade, healthy meals.
5. Exercise consistently, participate in more challenges, and have a stricter schedule.
6. Exericising better judgement in the selection of treats/meals out to partake in on a limited basis.

These are my goals from now through the end of the year. Discipline and self control!


Dear Lord, set my sights on You and Your great attributes. Help me to live in Your presence, dependent on Your guidance each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

YUCK...I went over a little again today and my workout was less so tomorrow it's back on track...today was my anniversary tho and hubby to me out to eat...the good thing is when I was at the resturant I ordered very HEALTHY! split my dinner with my hubby and shared desert so I know I can do this for life...and not every day is gonna be 100%! I'm PROUD of what I accomplished today! I know that it was going to be a little tricky to get any exercise at all, and to get 34 minutes/2 miles in and eating right even tho it was on the higher end of my cal allowance!

I tweeked my calories a little, because of the amount of workouts I do, so my cal intake went WAYYYY up...I think spark wanted me to eat like 2100 to 2600 cals a day!!! But I went more with 1800 to 2100 and today I had 2185...trying to get use to the more cal intake I need so it might take me a day or two to get use to the new intake levels....

3. At least 2 veggies daily
4. At least 8 glasses of water daily
5. To remain within my Weight Watchers guidelines of 29 points daily (which should also keep me in line with the 1300 to 1500 calories that SP suggests

emoticon 5 out of 5 for 3 days in a row! It still requires a bit of conscious effort so I can't wait until it becomes second nature ... when I'm just naturally eating fruits and veggies and dairy and won't even have to worry about 'squeezing them in' :)

This month my goal is stay with in my calorie range most of the time (1200-1550). Limit junk food (candy, chips and white bread).
So far i have stayed in my calories 2/3 days. Last night i ate two unscheduled granola bars and put me 150 calories over.
Will do better today.

Staying in calorie range and limiting my sweets are my goals for the month. I had to have time to figure out what I needed to work on most and that is it. I do really good for a while and then mess it up. I am going to be more mindful of what I put in my mouth!
Today, I met that goal!!

I have been doing ok over the weekend. Planning, preparing, portion control, and exercise areas were very good, the rest just ok. But this will be a better week!

My goals for October are to prepare for the upcoming Holiday temptations by forming better habits now. They include:

1. Reducing sweets/treats/sugar intake.
2. Exercising stricter Portion Control.
3. Increasing my Vegetable and Fruit servings more consistently.
4. Planning, preparing, and cooking more homemade, healthy meals.
5. Exercise consistently, participate in more challenges, and have a stricter schedule.
6. Exericising better judgement in the selection of treats/meals out to partake in on a limited basis.

These are my goals from now through the end of the year. Discipline and self control!



Dear Lord, set my sights on You and Your great attributes. Help me to live in Your presence, dependent on Your guidance each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My Food Goals for October are as follows:
1. 3 dairy servings daily
2. At least 2 fruits daily
3. At least 2 veggies daily
4. At least 8 glasses of water daily
5. To remain within my Weight Watchers guidelines of 29 points daily (which should also keep me in line with the 1300 to 1500 calories that SP suggests)

WOOHOO! Met all 5 goals today!!! And it wasn't even all that hard either :)

My goals food wise are going to b e strict this month! After playing with a healthy menu and exercising pretty much all month in sept., and not losing but 3 pounds....I've changed my diet A LOT! I will have breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack (s) the meals will be NO MORE then 500 cals max., and the snacks will be 100 to 150 cals max., each. I got Leslie's walk, eat, lose 21 day challenge, and after watching her cook and explain portions I had a major AH HA moment and realized why I'm not losing weight! After eyeing my portions and not using any forms to measure the food I'm eating I'm going wayyyyy over my calorie amounts!

So far, I been doing really good with weighing/measuring...this is gonna be easy!! I emoticon emoticon moments lol....

Dairy and water were good today ... fruits and veggies not so much :/ And I went over on WW points because I had my "once a month frappucino" from Starbucks. Pretty much know I'm going to go over on points on frappucino days since the frappucino alone is 16 (!!!) of my 29 points ... hence the 'once a month' ;)
So ... a 2 out of 5 for the day. Tomorrow will DEFINITELY be better!

Need to re-visit my original goals since I have slacked off sooo much. Have maintained my weight but have gotten into some bad habits. Need to get back to healthy snacks like fruits & veggies and quit trying to rationalize that it's OK to have those french fries instead of apple slices with my sandwich at Subway. Happy Sparktober to all!

WOW!!! Those are some awesome goals!!
