My favorite is "me time" on the front porch in the evenings prior to sunset. I set this time aside most evenings (when it's not too hot or stormy), during my only time alone to sit on the front porch and just shutdown/change gears and sit in peace and quiet. I either just enjoy the peace and quiet of nature surrounding me, amazed by God's Majesty, read devotionals, pray, just watch the sunset, meditate, or simply veg. Between the exercise before hand, and the peaceful moments after, it is truly a beneficial, healthy reward that reduces my stress level from work greatly. I feel grounded and I've changed gears during that time and can focus on our life.
My Actual goal is:
To increase this time now that temps are coming down a bit, and make it more beneficial to coincide with my "life balance" goals. I can't succeed without balance in all aspects of my life!
Dear Lord, set my sights on You and Your great attributes. Help me to live in Your presence, dependent on Your guidance each day. In Jesus name, Amen.

For my birthday this month,9/24 I will be getting a pedicure, and my husband bought me a new wii remote, and by doing online surveys at swagbucks I won free amazon money for my wii fit plus disk. I am going to buying me some new walk away the pounds dvds to work out too as well.
DO SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF!! IT IS GOOD TO REWARD YOURSELF WITH NON FOOD ITEMS. IT CAN BE AS SIMPLE AS A BUBBLE BATH OR READING A BOOK. OR BUYING SOMETHING NEW BECAUSE YOU LOST WEIGHT. WHATEVER IT IS, TRACK IT HERE AND KEEP US POSTED!
