Today I had a salad with mixed greens, baby carrots, half a cucumber and some grape tomatos and almonds. I only had 2 tbs of Kens ranch dressing. It was delicious.

Today was a nice healthy salad from the grocery store salad bar. I should have left the prepared tuna salad alone...but it is SO good I had to have some! The actual salad was great too - I love spinach and romaine (as opposed to iceberg lettuce)!

I tried McD"s oatmeal and thought it was yummm! Nice chunks of fruit.

Come on over, I love to cook!

Today was leftovers from my weekly batch cooking. A healthier version of chicken cacciatore. No cheese, just tomatoes, spices and a commercial sauce over a dry rub chicken. Baked.

I had it with pasta wheels. A bit higher than my ususal calories for lunch, but I having spinach salad for dinner.

I'm gonna start coming over to have lunch with you! Another Smart Ones meal (tuna noodle) - this one was as advertixed and tasted pretty good. I did a LOT better on breakfast today. Got the oatmeal and a yogurt parfait from McD's. It was greally good and quite filling.

Today was my attempt to get 'back in the saddle.' So it was a normal micromeal - smart ones, lean cuisine, whatever. I was a little disappointed because my creamy rigatoni with chicken & broccoli was somehow lacking the chicken emoticon . Oh well, it tasted good anyway.

I love a good slice of pizza. The problem for me is I keep going back.

I should have had your lunch tody, but my lunch was less healthy. I wanted to buy lunch for my team at work (delivered in), and of course, pizza is the easiest. The good news - I have done worse with pizza than today! And I'll eat light for dinner tonight.

Friday is the day I do not pack my lunch.

Today I opted for grill fish tacos from Wahoo, plus a side of their grilled veggies instead of rice and beans. Small change, but I prefer veggies over beans.

I normally pack my lunch for work, but today I had an appointment in the morning so I wasn't going straight to work. I opted for lunch out, and got a Chargrilled chicken garden sald from Chick fil A. YUM!

Today I had a salad:

romaine lettuce, grape tomato and red bell pepper slices (from my garden) with zucchini and kiwi marinated with a poppyseed vinaigrette. It was topped with sliced deli ham and provolone cheese.

I love to eat salads for lunch because it does not make me drowsy in the afternoon (usually). I am always looking for new flavor combinations so that I look forward to eat it.

Sometimes it is just plain hard to figure out a good lunch. Sometimes you end up eating something that, although nutritious, is just plain boring. Then, again, sometimes you knock out of the park with a great meal that is healthy and satisfying.

So share your favorite lunches. It may inspire someone else. Plus, it is additional accountability towards healthier eating.
