Final Tally!!! Did myself proud. Only one slip up, and it was a piece of homemade apple cake, made by a grandmom. I only ate one piece, as compared to half the cake in prior cake episodes! It only gets made once a year, for St Paddys day.

Sat. 3/10:Asparagus & spinach Sun. 3/11: spring mix & a green apple Mon. 3/12: Cilantro, spring mix, celery & grapes Tues. 3/13:Celery, grapes & spring mix, and cilantro..oh I forgot asparagus too Wed. 3/14: Cilantro, grapes, spinach, spring mix & cucumber Thurs. 3/15: Asparagus, mixed greens, bean dip (homemeade, its green and deeeelicious) cilantro & lime.
Fri. 3/16: Spring Mix, & green bean dip( again, deeeelicious) Sat. 3/17: green beans and a pickle, spring mix
Each meal had at least one serving of greens. Total Servings For The Week: 25

breakfast salad small 1, greens beans for lunch, 2 and then number 3-dinner salad lettuce
I just saw this, but since it coincides what I have been doing. I am going to join for the next couple of days. Last night I had a dinner salad of lettuce( iceberg) and broccoli (dark green). A new many goal for me, is to eat something green with every meal. I have a breakfast salad planned for today!

I misunderstood the challenge- I though we were counting the number of different green things we ate each day not the servings. Numbers changed to reflect servings.

I saw that juicer Montel Williams is spouting about. I bet that is a pretty penny~ I used to juice waaay back when, and it was a huge pain in the butt to clean the thing. I would love to find an inexpensive one that doesn't a) make a huge mess, b) easy to clean.

Count me in. I am up for the challenge love green veggies that is all I eat also this challenge inspires me to make my super green engerized juice if you have a juicer this one is the best
1/2 apple 1/2 pear 1 lemmon (pealed) 2 carrots 2 celery stalks greens and all 1/2 cucumber (pealed) hand ful or two of spinach 2 stalks of kahl and about a thumnail size of fresh ginger
Put that all into the juicer and you got a juice that will keep you going all day. and the color is nice for St Patty's

St. Patrick's Day - Pot O' Greens Challenge
• This challenge will run from Saturday, 3/10 through Saturday 3/17
Each day eat or drink as many "greens" (including fruits) as you can. Post daily what you've had and how many servings. (On this thread.)
One serving equals:
1 medium piece of fruit 1/2 cup fruit (raw, canned, or frozen) 1/2 cup cooked vegetables (canned or frozen) 1 cup raw vegetables 1/4 cup dried fruit 4-6 oz. of 100% juice (serving size depends on the type of juice) 1/2 cup cooked peas or beans
SOME EXAMPLES OF THE GREENS: Artichokes Asparagus Avocados Broccoli Brussels Sprouts Celery Chinese Cabbage Collard Greens Endive Green Apples Green Beans Green Beer:) Green Grapes Green Onions Green Pears Green Peppers Honeydew Melon Kiwi Leeks Lettuce Lettuce Greens Limes Peas Snow Peas Spinach Sugar Snap Peas Zucchini
