Started tracking again this week. I told Bobby that we are going to watch the healthiness of foods now. We always try to eat the right portions but have fallen into a rut of cooking stuff that might not be considered the healthy choice. Part of this is due to feeding Derek-since he moved back in. There is no reason he can't start eating the healthier choices too. Either that or find his own food. Right???
So...I am going to say goodbye to these 10-ish pounds.

Well, I've gained two since the marathon but have lost one of them so now I have to lose 6 pounds.

But, I'm back on track and tracking nutrition again! Also weighing and measuring portion sizes.

Great job P n B :)

I keep losing n regaining the same pound so not making a lot of progress :) I have trouble shedding just a few cuz I don't eat much different ever, just been trying to cut back on sugar grams. When I do, cravings start. Determined to figure it out :)

Ok, somehow I got unsubscribed to this one but it looks like it's been quiet anyway.. I've lost one pound!! I'm on track for another one, too. (if you don't count the 8 wings & a beer that I had tonight).
We'll see how it goes.
How's everyone else doing?

Ran on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I've another run to do in the morning.
No strength training or yoga - no time (great excuse, eh?
Vegs/fruit - 5/5 so far. I'll let you know about today and tomorrow on Sunday evening. Looks good so far, though.
Did some ice skating today, too.
Calorie range - 1/5 - not so good.

Thanks DeeJ! I think I need to get some advice from you with my eating. Frankly, my diet sucks! I think I am addicted to junk food, really. So far this week exercise wise has been pretty good. I have kept up with my ST, Mel B, and running. Still must be eating alot of crap because I keep fluctuating but am counting it as a 2lb loss...sorta.

Ran 8 miles today and we are heading to a new year's party. Gotta try and keep control LOL!

Hope everyone has a healthy, happy, new year!

Feel better Annie.

Waytogo Annie! Take good care of you n that migraine! :( sorry honey, I know those are miserable!

I'm down 4 myself & so excited about it. Weighed in last Monday (post Christmas weekend) & showed I had gained back the 3 I had lost which put me back to square one. I knew there was no way I'd ate THAT many extra cals in my indulgences & figured bod was retaining a lot of CRAP/JUNK :( so with a focus on little sugar grams & high fiber grams, I'm back down that 3 + lost 1 more but won't log it till Monday's weigh-in, hope it holds.

Also no way that's actual weight loss but clearly JUNK loss LOL I'll take it...

Motivated to not go too overboard 2nite n 2morrow :) I'll be very selective with my indulgences but I usually am :) it has to be worth it for me!!! ;)

Been doing great on my workouts this week. Gym twice, running twice and might take today off since I am dealing with a major migraine. Did manage to lose 2 of the 4 pounds that crept up over Christmas. That still leaves me with 7 more. It's progress!

WAYTOGO Penny & Johnny's Mom :)

I'm doing well on the low sugar, high fiber focus. Amazing how some whole grain products can have very little sugar grams & others much higher yet they're both whole grain. This is requiring a new look at labels. 20 grams a day or less of sugar still allowed me a spoon of peanut butter in my oats this morn :) YEAY!

Ran 5 miles Tuesday & did 7x400/400 Recovery intervals yesterday out of the 10 I had planned; cut it short to make an appt. Kept up w/ intended speed :) yippee! Not bad considering over a week away from running.

Today's Power Yoga.

Today was a bit of a mix for me. I set out to do my 7 hill run but the snow was fresh, uneven and uncooperative. I capped it at one hill - total kms 4.
I ate pretty good all day. Dinner was a plate of Chinese food (mostly vegs) but I'm sure it took me over my limit. Tasty but probably NOT worth the calories.

Hey Trish- Mel B is kickin' my butt! I am sore today like I haven't been in a while...it's a good thing though. I think. :) Just gotta get over the whole sweatin' to the spice girls thing though, LOL ;)

I'm thinking about getting the Zumba game that I have seen advertised. The only way I could possibly do it is in the privacy of my basement! Also, just ordered a Total Gym knockoff to use at home. Chuck Norris eat your heart out!

What we plan to do & what we actually do.. if you're comfy telling us about weight loss/gain - that's good, too.
Maybe once Jan 1st hits, we can set a few challenges for each other. In the meantime, most of us have just put down our plan for everyone to see.

I need to take off 4 to get to my original 124 goal. But I'd also like to take off another 4 to 6 pounds on top of that. I'm at the high end of my *perfect* weight.
Should be 111 to 126....well, I'm thinking 118-120 would be attainable.

After my marathon, I'd like to go back to running 4 days a week, yoga two days a week and ST-ing 2-3 days a week.

So that will all begin after January 9th.

I need 5 off but would like 10. I don't need to worry about working out....I never miss that. But I do need to watch eating (EVIL peanut butter) and portion. I also need to switch up my workouts. Not running but ST and cross training. I am going to try yoga and other things. Bobby bought me two new workout DVD's. One yoga and one cardio with Bob from the biggest loser. Woohoo...let's get this done in 2011! Thanks Penny.
So far this week...
ran 4 miles on TM-12-26
gym-50 min. ST-1 mile walk on TM-12-27

I am probably just like the rest of you I keep losing the same 5 pounds over and over again. I am in.

I run 3 times a week and try to 1 ST and XT one time.

Eating - I don't really have a plan - trying hard to watch portions. I will try to stay in range 5/7 days during the next week.

WOW!! What perfect timing! As I was walking a bit ago, I kept thinking"I should get these last 5 lbs off. " Will it work while training for a 1/2? I'm willing to try. I'm very dehydrated right now but like the way my abs and legs look-not alot of extra fluff. If I get rid of these last 5 lbs...I can be like this all the time!
So, I'll run 3x a week,Zumba 1x and HOPEFULLY(with some pointy boots from all of you)do some ST 1-2x a week.
Thanks for starting this,Penny!!

I go to Curves 2-3 times a week and try to run 3 times a week. During the warmer days, I also power walk 5 times a week 1.6 miles.

I'm really wanting to release these last five pounds, and keep them off, this year. If I have someone or some people to keep me on track, I might actually do it.
My plan is to run 3x a week, add at least one day of strength and one of yoga. All the while, I hope to keep within my calories 5/7 days.
Who's with me?
