Beth - that streak is such a good idea! I love the not-eating-after-a-certain-time challenge. I may have to use your idea for next week's challenge!

Stayed in calorie range again yesterday. Yahoo! It's getting easier every day. I'm paying attention to my fullness - I get full more quickly than I thought! It's been more frequent, smaller meals for me, but it's working.

It's over and I am done. All in all not too bad. I was over range 3 times and under range 3 times out of 30 days. Each of the three times I was over was a special occasion; my first race, year end Scout meeting and Father's Day. I'm not going to overly worry about calories now until July 1 and will figure out what my next streak will be.

Last night I went to dinner with a friend - Red Lobster. I ate too much, but I stayed away from fried stuff, and took the bacon off my scallops. Tracked everything and went over range by about 300-400 calories.
Today is a new day.

It was also my rest day. So today, back on the horse.

Still aiming for more protein. Did much better the last few days. (Not copying and pasting anymore-figured I would just report for accountability). I am going to get more greek yogurt-it wasn't too bad and with fruit added was even better. Tried tofu in my spaghetti sauce tonight (along with the meat). It doesn't have any taste so that was easy. Problem is I guess I bought the wrong kind-as mine has about 1/2 the protein as sparks nutritional info has. I will get this!

My goal is 10 days out of 11 in calorie range...1518-1900

Anne - I do the Greek yogurt thing, too. Lots of wonderful protein. I like fish, too - I eat tuna for lunch pretty often.

Today I did pretty well with the eating. Listened to my body more than I usually do.

Anne---protein I do pretty well on...how much does she want you to have?? Chobani yogurt has 14 gm in 1 container.....bobs 7 grain hot cereal has 6...I also try to have designer whey protein...

Grill up some chicken breasts and keep them in the fridge....

It seems I barely get into my protein range. Always been a problem for me. But I have always thought as long as I was in the ranges...no problem. But Becky (sp nutritionist) has suggested to up my protein to a. jump start my weight loss again and b. help with the crazy menopause symptoms. It is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be.
My question to you all is-Do you all have problems with your protein range? Just wondering and hoping for suggestions.

Trying to eat more protein/lower carbs...So far this week-

June 7th-close but not perfect ranges.
June 8th-I am trying...gosh it's hard to eat more protein.
June 9th-made it to 80 protein-high for me-but I didn't go lower in my carbs-very difficult-AND I was a bit over in calories-*sigh*
June 10th-low calories but also barely got into protein range
June 11th-same as yesterday-must work harder for protein.
June 12th-grad parry-evening out (and 2 pieces of cake)
June 13-grad party-more cake!
June 14th-Did well today! Much higher in protein and without adding a lot of calories!
June 15th-Woohoo finally! I was in calorie range. I had a mid/high protein range and a bit lower in carbs. I finally did it!
June 16th-In calorie range but still not high in protein. Need to get in the middle to higher end. Grrr.
June 17th-
June 18th-
June 19th-
June 20th-
Hope this works. I am not a protein eater but am trying!

OK I am back-this weekend was 2 graduation parties and an evening out with a large group of friends, as well as a large serving of various alcohol! Did much better today!

New plan is to eat min. of 1518 calories and then add in 1/2 of my calories burned with my workouts up to max. of 1900...

I made it to the gym in the morning four times this week, surpassing my goal by one day. Yahoo!

Next week, since school is out, I'm going to add a nutrition goal to my fitness goal. I think I like this goal of going to the gym in the morning, so I may keep it.

Looks like everyone is doing a great job!

Trying to eat more protein/lower carbs...So far this week-

June 7th-close but not perfect ranges.
June 8th-I am trying...gosh it's hard to eat more protein.
June 9th-made it to 80 protein-high for me-but I didn't go lower in my carbs-very difficult-AND I was a bit over in calories-*sigh*
June 10th-
June 11th-
June 12th-

Hope this works. I am not a protein eater but am trying!
