How are the folks on Biggest Loser getting by on less than 1250 cals a day? I am down to 1750 most days and it is tough.

Today was a planned DOR. The cold weather is not helping - my achilles are both really tight tonight...going to have to stretch before bed. Tomorrow I start W4D1...should be interesting...two 1/2 mile runs...should be fun.

You are right---have to live...not every day will be 100%...all we can do is try...

As you can see, this thread has been quiet...thanks for getting it going again...

I have had a bad week...fitness wise, running not what I have hoped for..its been a struggle...and I am over 5 out of 7 days this week.....

Today I will finish in range and hope that this continues.....

Just finished tracking for the week. Not a bad week at all. Was in or under my target five of the seven days. On Monday, I just exceeded the ceiling but since I worked from 8AM to 11PM I am not going to complain....then came today. My son really wanted to go the Chinese buffet. I tried really hard. Mapped out the foods I wanted and how much of each I could have. Realizing that I was going to go over my calories for the day I just accepted that I was rewarding myself for having a great week. So, my dinner total was only 100 cals less than my low threshold for the day...lol...Oh, well. We all have to live.

I'm over by 88 cals and LOTS of fat. (kielbasa and macaroni/cheddar salad). AND-I'm hungry right now. I burned over 400 cals running today so I'm not upset..and thinking about a bowl of cereal to curb this bedtime hunger....

i think i'm talking to myself here..that's okay for now-I need the accountability. I stayed in range for cals,fat,protein and carbs AND I even added a Fiber one Bar with a T. of pb after dinner. Lovin' that protein!!!

I'm in range for everything, including calories today and I"m stuffed! I had tilapia instead of corn dogs(though the bite I had was tasty)-that really helped my protein get up into the high end!

ick hope your heartburn didnt last long, that is awful!

well i did it, in range monday and tuesday. today i will do my best to keep it from getting out of control, but i have a lunch meeting and a dinner thing tonite - date number two - and this one is a runner so we can spend hours just talking about our garmins. geeks!!! haha! have a great day ladies!

we can definitely get it right today! and tomorrow!!! after that - no promises!!!

makes today and tomorrow critical...

i have lunch out on wednesday, and dinner out on wednesday and thursday and then of course everything goes out the window because of NOLA... eek!

My goal - to be at the low end of my cal range today and tomorrow - we can do that beth right??? I am going to try by not having any FULL meals.. just healthy snacks every time I get hungry and a little bigger at meal times (probly how we're supposed to be doing this anyways!).

Date night went well! We are gonna get together after NOLA and see... and... I have another date on Wednesday... busy busy! haha!

Anne---great job!!! I wish I liked venison---not that I don't like it...I have issue eating it...since I know where it came from...but I have that with all meats if I think about it....LOL..

Tomorrow's another day for success,Beth!!!
I'm in range today! And low on fat! I made venison stir fry...ummmm!! Wish I had room in the belly for more, it was so tasty and hardly any fat. I chowed and chowed and since there's hardly any fat or calories, I could eat lots with no worries.

Well, dinner's over, I'm full and I'm under calories and protein. It's b/c of Lent and we're not eating between meals and no sweets. I do eat between meals if I feel that I need it-I'm aware that my body needs food more frequently.
So, I may have to find something a bit later-maybe my fibernow bar with naturally more peanut butter. Have ya'll tried that ? YUM! I'm a JIF die hard and won't eat other natural pb but this is good-has flax and wheat germ and is lower in fat and calories than reg. Jif!!! YUMMY!!

I am changing my range once again...am I not getting enough and that is why the weight is staying on?? Burning over 3500 cals per week...range is now..

yea so by two, i was already at 1500 cal and i was starvin still... weird how you can eat a 'big' meal and still be hungry shortly after. i think it was stress and boredom! havent logged the whole days damage yet, but i will tomorrow!

another day down ladies! lets see how tomorrow goes... actually i am on track to be over the next two days... out to dinner both :-/ one's a date though... cant complain about that!!!

YEAH!! I stayed in all my ranges and got my water all in already and just have ot take my vitamins!!!!
Dani-good girl on loggin it anyways. That's always an eyeopener. I logged a pancake breakfast once...it was half of day's worth of calories!

at 1665 today i was over by 45 calories, which ill take since i burned 750 in my 6 mile run! woo hoo! go me. not like im losing weight or anything, but we cant have it all right???

thanks beth! i ended up talking on the phone too long and forgot to have my treat of choc chips so i ended up only 84 calories over yesterday, ill take it!

today is off to a promising start, i will have to get to the store for more food though. i have no carbs on hand and no snacks. thoughts of the vending machine are rolling through my head!

Oh,Brother! Even with more calories available I'm over!! (only 40,though)I'm just in on fat and good in protein and carbs so it's okay(plus I burned 500 calories running/walking today).
Have a great dinner, everyone. Mine was homemade lasagna(super cheesy),garlic bread,salad and 1/4 c. ice cream with hot fudge sauce(gotta get it eaten before Lent starts,ya know!) emoticon
