Thank you for responding to me. While I do not garden, I do have a large yard that needs to be kept up. So, I walk around, pull weeds, water, etc. I had forgotten all about walking at the mall. I have heard that it opens early just for people to walk. I just might check this out.

Hello fellow Social Workers; I have a hard time thinking of exercise and fun in the same sentence! However, because I sit at my work providing therapy or evaluations all day, I have gotta move more. I have just jumped in to exercise previously and quickly burned out and returned to sitting. Now, I am thinking about something simple like walking the family dog and maybe a basic yoga class. My plan is to build up to the gym or whatever seems appropriate. Any and all suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

i need to keep changing things up. i have recently started trying some group fitness classes. i just finished 8 weeks of zumba (so much fun!!) and on Friday joined the Y, so i have started swimming and plan on trying out the BodyPump class.
Happy November! I have to say, right now, exercise is not part of my routine. I have been a couch potato for months now. However, exercise is on my "to do list". Right now, I have no days off in November, so sleep is on my mind. I will get it together soon. No worries.

Ok team I saw this question and I thought it would be a great idea for a thread. It would interesting to know and maybe your fun way may help others. Please share in this thread. For me I have been going to the gym and although I have been going often I find it hard sometimes and dont want to go. Fortunately since i Live in florida on the days I dont want to go I usually go by and walk along the lake front. When I am in the gym I have put several audio books on my ipod usually juicy, exciting ones and I listen to them only when I work out . WHen they are good it just motivates me to quickly get back in the gym to listen to them. WHat about you?
