I have been looking through old threads to see which ones we can revive. This one seems to be a great one so I'm going to make it a 'sticky' for a while and I hope everyone will participate and enjoy:
We are going to focus on getting our bodies in shape by stopping traffic! We are going to have sexy, tight, fit, and healthy bodies in no time, especially if we kick it up a notch! Many of you have really got the cardio thing down pack, but now we are going to kick it with the strength training.
Here's the challenge:
1. Eating Clean
* Incorporate something red, yellow, and green (colors of the stoplight) in your diets as far as fruits and veggies are concerned.
Red: watermelon, tomatoes, salsa, strawberries, red peppers, vegetable juice, cherries, apples, raspberries, red grapefruit, radishes, etc.
Yellow: squash, pineapple, apples, corn, bananas, lemons, white grapefruit, mangoes, etc.
Green: broccoli, greens, spinach, romaine, green beans, cabbage, green peppers, celery, cucumbers, grapes, apples, asparagus, peas, okra, etc.
Increase your veggies and fruit in your diet. Decrease the amounts of process sugars you normally may eat.
* We are going to keep the cardio at least 150 minutes a week
* Strength training will be 3 times a week!
3. Get your beauty rest!
Try your best to plan out your day and get to bed at a decent hour! Your body needs to get 7+ hours nightly, so, let's give it at least 7 hours!
4. Do something that makes you feel sexy & beautiful! Remember the 1 hour me time.
I will leave this completely up to you, but please do it! Each of you are beautiful, no matter the current size you maybe! We are fearfully and wonderfully made! And don't forget Phenomenal.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is our time to get our sexy back and be healthy at the same time! Remember, you are worth the time and effort!
We can do this and I hope to see many of you join this challenge.
