My goal for 2014 is to lose 1 pound per week.

After 2 weeks of January I have lost a pound.... however it was a (new) pound I gained during the holidays.

Hopefully next week I can say emoticon by losing one of my old pounds emoticon

It's taking some effort on my part to get going but I am slowly improving each day.
One thing I am doing is analyzing my hunger when I get the urge to eat off plan.
Yesterday ( twice) I was considering some chocolate chip cookies ( I believe only because I knew they were there ) but stopped and decided the first time on a slice of watermelon and the 2nd time on sugar free chocolate pudding....not the best choice but a better one than the cookies. This week I will work on finding some recipes for healthy snacks that I can use as my GO TO when I get the urge.

I agree MsChange. emoticon Maybe this is something that we can work on together and be accountable. I am a diabetic and really need to get under control. So my goals for now are to drink my required 8 glasses of water (if not more); check my blood sugars at least 4 times a day and to go to the Y for swimming at least 3 times a week. emoticon

It's a daily journey!

I realize this goes back to January 2013 but what a great time to get motivated for the New Year 2014 emoticon

January 1st is only a few weeks away but it gives us plenty of time to plan our strategy for a great goal breaking 2014 emoticon

Or maybe you just need to step it up a little to keep things from getting boring emoticon

My list for January is basic. . My challenge is to make it a daily routine.

1. Drink 6 - 8 glasses of water each day
2. Exercise every day 15 - 30 mins
3. Stay with in my 160 gms of carbs per day

All of you are so inspiring, that it made me feel that I better join you in trying to help myself with a challenge. I've been so good and lately I've been over-eating every day. Yes, back to my old ways and I don't like it, not one little bit! I don't like the way I feel. My goal is to start remembering why I joined SP to begin with and start eating healthy once again. I've been so close to weighing 200# for the first time in probably 6 years or so! All I want to do this month of November it to get down to 198 or less. I know we can all do what we need to do! emoticon

I'm starting my ticker over with going low carb.

If they are good ones and work for you, that's what you should keep doing.

I just noticed that when I'm sitting at the computer, I have a tendency to slump down with my tummy sticking out. I think I'll add sitting up straight as one of my new goals.

Let's go get 'em, Tigers. emoticon

Great job getting over that plateau!

I am resetting my goals for the week same as last week! I got my five days each for no sugar, no evening eating, and evening exercise and I want to do all of those 5 times this week.

My weigh-in will be Tuesday!

Hello, gals. This is exciting now that I'm starting to see some positive results. I've been on 198 lbs for forever, but finally made it to 195. I think the dancing exercises are helping.

I sure appreciate all the encouragement.

So far this week Mon-Wed I was 3/3 on all my goals, and today was a good no sugar and not planning to eat this evening, but I'm taking tonight off from exercising. I'm planning to do yoga tomorrow, so I should be set for my 5/7 for the week!

How are your goals coming?
