Being new I'm currently having to add everythng to my favourites, as very little seems to be listed on there. It is taking quite a long time, but I shall get there in the end!

I just want to add that I am finding the "new" nutrition tracker much easier to use. Particularly the Favourites tab - just go in there, tick the ones you're eating today, select the quantity and meal and bang it's all in your tracker in one go!

Much easier than searching for foods individually emoticon yum!

I'm like most people here, I use the tracker everyday, otherwise I'd have no hope! Even on Fridays (which is the family takeaway night)!

It's better to try, fall, and get back up again, than never to try at all.

It's a god send Heather!
You're right in saying that once that you have your own favourites listed, it becomes easier!

I use the tracker for every meal - not always to plan but definitely to record what I've eaten ... and especially to work out whether I can "afford" a treat in the evening!

I find when I use the tracker I lose and when I skip it I don't seem to do so well - I wonder why? emoticon

It is a fair bit of work entering all the UK foods, but once you've got your favourites in, it's easy to select your own foods. If you search for things like Asda, Tesco, and other UK brands you'll find a fair number of other UK members have already done the work for you emoticon

I try and use it for every meal, but currently it's a bit of a nuisance having to enter everything - so many American foods of course, but I am working at making it a habit.

It's certainly raised my awareness of the size of my portions, which has to be good.

I put half a spoonful of herbs in my tracker today and was amazed, because it was 2 calories! Didn't expect it to register.

I use the tracker every day but have become a bit slack at recording everything that I eat.

I use it every day. It highlights to me just how many calories are in things. If I use an item that is not already on the site I add the item to my calorie counter for future reference. I'm not an avid sticking to the 1500 calories per day & do have adessert if we go out for a meal but it does help me stay on the straight & narrow most of the time. When it's written down-it's real!!!!!

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!

For success, I believe being aware of calorie intake and which food groups they come from play a major part in winning the war against excess weight.

The great thing about this facility is that all you have to do is enter the item and it's weight and the site works out everything else!
Just let us know if you use this valuable aid and if so, how many days a week do you use it?
