Thanks for the info. I am probably going to stick with doing just the bike portion again next year although I did committ to my grandaughter that I would do two tri's next year if she was into it. I had to work pretty hard just to do a mediocre job of the 50 mile bike. At 72 I still would like to think I could train and do a full short course but reality is different than what I would like to do!
It's all good

Eugene had a triathlon this year with two levels. The long was a 1k swim, 50 mi bike and a 10k run. The short course was just about half of that. This is supposed to be an annual event. I did the bike portion on a team effort with my niece and granddaughter. Great fun!!
I'm working my way back to fitness - slowly! - and have my running and cycling going relatively well. My question is this - Does anyone know of an Olympic (that's the short course, not the Ironman!) Triathlon in Oregon?
