Fish is like fine wine, you have to acquire a taste for it. Glad my parents made me eat it. You might try experimenting with different kinds to see if anything appeals. Salmon smoked over a BBQ is my favorite. If not be sure to get your Omega 3s through some kind of fish oil capsule.

I happen to like that Jennio turkey polish sausage. It is low in calories, but high in sodium and other stuff that is not good for you, but for me it makes a low calorie tasty addition to a salad, soup or some cajun recipe.
Never used protein powders but suggest you talk to the nutrition expert at a nutrition center or health foods store and see what they suggest. Ask them why too.
Thanks for the suggestions. I am a big yogurt, peanut butter, beans, cottage cheese eater but I only like to do 1 maybe 2 servings of dairy a day and peanut butter I usually eat daily too. My issue is I am not eating enough meat which I am not a vegetarian but I do not eat fish or seafood. I know I need the amino acids from meat in order to properly use the protein I am gettin from the other sources. I ordered Designer Whey aria protein supplement today I am looking forward to trying this out with healthy smoothies! I still need to work on my protein intake from animals. Eggs eggs, chicken, turkey and a little red meat you are on the menu!

I use 1/2 scoop of natural (unflavored) whey protein in my coffee in the morning and I sprinkle it is pasta sauces and salsas which adds protein but doesn't change the consistency or flavor. I also do a smoothie in the morning where I blend a cup of frozen fruit, a cup of spinach and a scoop of vanilla flavored whey protein.
Some people are afraid of whey protein thinking that it is only for body builders the trick is to not use too much. My max is two scoops a day which gives me 28-30g of protein per scoop. I have lost weight.

Yes, I absolutely love Greek yogurt, especially the Zoi honey. It is high in calories, but if you look a serving is a fourth of a container. I just eat a couple tablespoons at a time and count it as dessert.
I have gastric Lap band. I srink the Costco brand Premiere Protein shake one a day has 30 grams of protein. Protein is important. I like Cathy's suggestion. You can also get it in cottage cheese and Greek yogurt has more protein than regular yogurts.
I am looking for a protein supplement. I am currently not getting enough protein in my diet. I am not looking for one specific to body building just to supplement my protein intake. Do you have a favorite or one that you use and enjoy. Cause lets face it has gotta taste good!!
