I don't know if I can do this here, but I have access to a service that protects against this kind of thing and is the country leader in identity theft. If I haven't broken any SP rules by soliciting here and you are interested please feel free to leave a comment on my page and I will get back to you. Again sorry if I have broken any rules. I feel very strongly about the electronic theft going on these days and these people have to be stopped
I am posting this from the Team Leaders Thread. This isn't the first and it won't be the last. Always be aware there are scams.
I already posted this on the SP Community leaders forum. But since it is about the end of the business day, I am posting it here as well to make sure SPARK staff see this. Also, I think we all nee to be aware of this kind of thing happening to people on our teams. I have already sent spark mail to this person. I think she has a handle on it, but wanted it reported. There is not a way to report inappropriate posts on the message boards that I have found.
I was clicking past the first page on the introduction message board again. Found one or two people who had not been responded to on pages 2 and 3. I just came across the following post from CAROLKLA. TOPIC: AcaiPure/Bromalite 3/19/09 10:56 A She posted: I have been on this site for 3 weeks and it's really been helping. Love the exercise and food tracking and everyone's stories. I did run across a problem and I'm wondering if it happened to anyone else. I read an article in SparkPeople about AcaiPure and Bromalite and how well it worked for a jump start body flush. There was a link for a "free sample" of each with just $4.95 shipping fees. I received the samples and didn't find that they did anything at all. Now, two weeks later, I'm getting charged $69.95 from a company called Dri*Reg.Net. I called and they told me it is a monthly fee from Bromalite. This came directly out of my checking account and I am trying to get it removed. Please let me know if anyone else had a problem. Thanks ~ I responded: That doesn't sound like an article that came from Spark People. Somebody may have got on the site to promote a scam. It occasionally happens. CALL YOUR BANK ~ ASAP.
I think you will find articles by the Spark Coaches telling you that these body flushes are nonsense.
I hope you get this straightened out. I had to cancel a credit card once at the advice of VISA because somebody started sending me "mystery boxes" after I ordered something I wanted.
