There are actually a few hiking trails that aren't to bad out around Multnomah falls, and that area!!!

I have been hiking Oregon State Park System trails... they are great. Many are paved so you can take strollers... some are mostly flat... and then there are those that are very challenging. You can contact me to chat about what I have hiked....
Are you looking for places in any particular area? Much of the parks I visited are close to Portland... but the ones further away are great for mini-vacations. Google Oregon State Parks and check out the parks..
Welcome and happy hiking!
Donna

Oh, there's also the Nature Park, in Beaverton. I has miles of trails.

Forest Park has all sorts of hikes in it. Some trails are steeper than others. Some are nice and flat. That place could keep you busy for months.

I also have a "Portland Area Hikes" book, or something like that, but we only used it once. We generally let geocaching be our hiking guide...

I am in the Beaverton area. So anywhere within one to two hours would be perfect. I will check out Silver Falls! Thanks! For some reason, I never thought of it for hiking, only camping, which you would think would go together in my mind!

Silver Creek Falls is beautiful. Lots of waterfalls along the way. Many different trails.

Hi everyone! I am new here and of course, i am trying to live a healthier lifestyle. I love to hike and I have no idea where to go! I do have two kiddlets to take with me, so I want to do some research. I have tried finding hikes online, but I have had no luck. Can someone recommend a website (or even a book) that has different hikes in Oregon and ratings on them?

Thank you,

Dawn
