WooHoo! To Everyone! I have been a bit derailed by home events. Our A/C is in the process of dying and we have to turn it off by about 130pm and leave it off until about 630pm. So I am switching gears for exercise and will have to do some mall-walking. But who cares where it gets done, right?

We will get the word on how long it will take to get it replaced tomorrow.

any that I got done this week has been working on the yard. I'm hoping to get some treadmill walking in this week. Need to buckle down & just do it.

How is everyone doing? I got 20 minutes more than usual this week. Next week I am aiming for 50 minutes minimum and will be on track for hitting the August challenge goal.

It's been sweltering her (117 one day) so I have been working out indoors to some videos.

Consistent exercise has been a problem for me, too. I am planning to use this to start a new habit of daily exercise. My person goal this month - just do more than last month by 100min. Next month I am personally planning to increase that goal.

this is great. I need to work on my fitness level. And I just got in 30 min, which is over half of what I did last month. Now to keep going.

For all of those who read the July team rankings - here is your challenge I promised.

After looking at my rankings in all my teams for the last few months I decided that I needed to make a change. I rank well in SparkPoints each month, not so well in Fitness Points. Based on your responses, I am not alone. And moving more is key to increasing your health.

Challenge: I challenge the team to join me in working toward shrinking the difference between monthly Spark points and Fitness Points. For me that means a bit less SP points on the games and fun stuff, and more on moving this body!

Rules: Just one= Move more and log it! I will use the ranks for August, comparing them to July, to determine all those who met the challenge. There will be SparkGoodies for all of those who meet the challenge. For some of us a small change will be enough to meet this challenge. Some of us already are rocking our exercise, but anyone who who logs 100more fitness points than last month will meet the challenge.

For the team: use this string to check in, give each other encouragement and talk about your progress. Post any links to helpful exercise or articles that you found that inspired you.

If anyone has some special pysical limitations, let me know and I will help you find some exercises you can still do. I have knee injuries that limit some of my movement so I am used to finding a workaround.
