If you're really a 'pycho-softball' mom you'll probably burn quite a few calories! Good for you.
It's so hot here today that I'm staying in! And to think I used to think Ohio wasn't humid! Boy, was I wrong! I'm making spaghetti tonight so for me the keyword is 'portion control'! LOL Wish me luck, spaghetti is my very favorite!
I took my daughter to see Kung Fu Panda yesterday, so there was movie popcorn involved. We also had fast food yesterday........... I was just bad all the way around!! On a good note, she has a softball tournament today, so I will get some activity in jumping and yelling like a psycho mom (which I can be!) No fast food today, I will actually cook!
If you accidentally ate your own tongue, what would it taste like?
If you tell someone they are being judgmental, aren't you being judgmental yourself?
Have you ever stopped to think, and forgot to start again??
I don't worry quite as much with my food on weekends but I try to be active. Today I walked up and down my stairs 5 times and mowed the yard. That's a lot for me with my fused ankle.
I made a pot of chili for us today and didn't make a big Sunday meal so maybe that'll help too.
My Ron is home every day with me so I don't have the same situation as y'all. But I was there once upon a time and I wish I'd known then what I know now! LOL I'd probably be a LOT healthier and skinnier today!
I have 2 admit that weekends r the hardest 4 me b cause my husband is an over the road truck driver. He is only home on the weekends & he loves 2 cook so that is what he does. Good point I dont have 2 to cook bad point he cooks what he wants 2 eat not always what I should have. LOL However we do spend a lot of time outside (when weather permits). I have started rollerblading, but we generally go fishing camping or bike riding.

I have to admit if I am going to slack off and cheat a little, it is on the weekends. It just that we are more likely to barbcue and have a big breakfast on the days my husband is home. He works only monday to friday. I guess that is why this is suppoed to be a lifestyle change and not just a diet. Do you think we will ever get to the point where healthy eating and exercise isn't a constant obsessive thought and just part of life? I love food and am hoping I won't always miss cheeseburgers and buttered popcorn.

Just thought I'd start us a thread to gab on during the weekends! I would be interested to know how you cope with weekends. Are they harder for you? Easier? Do you slack off on the weekends? Ever feel isolated?
As for me, since I can't work my weekends are just like other days for me. I try not to slack off but I do occasionally drink a glass of Cherry Pepsi! I feel as if I've earned it by the weekend! LOL As for the isolationist part, my Ron sticks with me, although it's not quite the same as my SparkFriends, you know what I mean? Y'all are my rock and I miss you on the weekends!
Please let us all know how you cope with weekends, okay? I look forward to hearing how you do it!
