Work was a mess. They had a very hard week, with massive last minute stuff coming up. In addition to me being out, my boss was out on business, so the guy I've been training got thrown head first into the deep end of the pool. He was VERY glad to see me back!

I was a bit tired when I got home, but not too bad. I'm going to go in tomorrow when it's nice and quiet and get my desk straightened up...filing, printing reports, etc. My boss will be there, so I may be able to help her with some stuff too...we're doing a huge software conversion next week, which is why I'm going to see if the surgeon can push back my Lumpectomy Lite to July 3. That way, I'll be there to assist with the conversion, and I'll only have to take one day off because July 4 is a holiday. Of course, if he say no, then no it is, but he did ask me when would be convenient for me to have the second surgery, and I just thought the sooner the better. If he's willing to wait a week with no harm done, then I'm gong to do that.

One stumble does not a failure make.

Everything in moderation.

How did work go today? I hope you didn't get too tired.
Hope you get good results from the next surgery.

WOW! Good news!
We'll keep the good thoughts and prayers going to next Thursday. I would definitely have them put in the port at surgery time if they will!

I'm fine so far...first day without pain meds, but I'm fine. I was really tired today, so I took a long nap and I'm feeling better. Work tomorrow...I'm bringing bagels in for everyone...they've had a very hard week!

Thanks for the news. I'm sure you are glad to finally know the biopsy result. There are likely others on this team who have gone through a similar experience. We'll be praying that on Thursday that they get it all and have wisdom about further treatment. Thanks for sharing.

It's on my blog, but in a nutshell:

Everything is free and clear...almost.

The mass on Righty was nothing. Benign, and all gone.

The lymph nodes are clear. That's VERY good news.

Of the two areas on Lefty, the one they thought was pre-cancerous was actually becoming cancerous...but it's all gone. They didn't quite get all the clear margins on the second one that they wanted to, but they're almost there. One more surgery (scheduled for next Thursday, Lumpectomy Lite) and I should be set. They may or may not input a chemo port at that time.

So far, so good!

One stumble does not a failure make.

Everything in moderation.
