I really hope Spring comes soon - we have continued to have nothing but snow and cold - I think we only had two days last week that got above freezing! I'm very sick of winter - ready for nice weather.

Sunday: have already done 43 min of WIO and 10 min of stretching this morning. Will be going to work after church and will be getting plenty more minutes of walking, lifting and stretching there.

Challenge: Mar 16 - 22 Spring Cleaning

The first day of Spring is this week so that signals it is time for us to get ourselves ready for nice weather with a little Spring cleaning workout. The plan is to do these activities each day to help trim and tone us for the season. For the challenge, you should do these daily if possible; but at least 3 times this week:

You pick the level or duration to do.

Deep Breathing - to rid your head of cobwebs
Chair Pose - to stand on while cleaning those high places
Triceps Extensions - to reach and clean every nook and cranny
Table Tilt - polish that table top to a sheen
Free Step, Free Run or Island Cycling - as you dash through the house. You decide which to do; alternating each day is my plan.
Sun Salutation - to stretch after all that aerobic 'cleaning'

Remember, if there is any exercise you cannot do safely, then please pick a substitute. For example, if the run/walk isn't good for you, then do boxing or hula - just make it energetic.

I hope you enjoy this Spring cleaning and toning session.
