Sat: Finish strong by doing 15 mins of the arm & leg workouts of your choice. Repeat one of this week's workouts or make up your own; just focus on building strength.

I went with making up a new routine today. I did 31 mins altogether, focusing on lower body and abs.

Challenge #117: Oct 10-16 Build Your Muscles

Building strong bodies is important for our overall fitness. The more muscle we have, the more calories we burn. The stronger we are, the more we can do. It's all good. This challenge focuses on strength & yoga exercises to help us build a muscle or two, alternating between arm & leg workouts. You pick the duration or level for each exercise.

I've listed some Wii Fit Plus activities as options. You may choose to do these in place of one of the regular Wii Fit activities each day or put in some extra effort and do all of them. It's up to you.

Sat 10/9: I know I am getting an early start, but It doesn't make sense to start up on last weeks on the last day since it was a progression challenge. I hope to be able to keep up with it this week. I have decided if I am too tired I am not getting up early to exercise since I haven't been sleeping well. Right now I need my sleep more. My husband is on afternoon this week so late exercise may work better anyhow.

10/10 I have to say I really didn't feel like exercising today but once I got started, it felt great. However, I didn't write down my scores which I will do from tomorrow on. I did do all of the exercises though. Thank you for motivating me to get going!

Challenge #117: Oct 10-16 Build Your Muscles

Building strong bodies is important for our overall fitness. The more muscle we have, the more calories we burn. The stronger we are, the more we can do. It's all good. This challenge focuses on strength & yoga exercises to help us build a muscle or two, alternating between arm & leg workouts. You pick the duration or level for each exercise.

I've listed some Wii Fit Plus activities as options. You may choose to do these in place of one of the regular Wii Fit activities each day or put in some extra effort and do all of them. It's up to you.


Sun: Let's start with warming up both sets of muscles.
- Arm & Leg Lift
- Downward-Facing Dog
- Chair
*** Plus options:
- Rhythm Parade
- Rhythm Kung Fu

Mon, Wed, Fri: Leg focus.
- Sideways Leg Lift
- Single Leg Extension
- Lunges
- Rowing Squat
*** Plus options:
- Obstacle Course
- Segway Circuit

Tue, Thu: All about arms.
- Triceps Extension
- Push-Up Challenge
*** Plus options:
- Bird's Eye Bull's Eye
- Big Top Juggling

Sat: Finish strong by doing 15 mins of the arm & leg workouts of your choice. Repeat one of this week's workouts or make up your own; just focus on building strength.

Remember - If you cannot safely do a certain activity or do not yet have it unlocked, pick a substitute to do in its place. The important thing is to keep on moving.
