I saw that and it was great... just wish I didn't have to click on each one to see the picture. I know some folks would squawk no matter how much help they got... sorry emoticon It truly is a great site and I will use it. I really appreciate your sharing with me... Thank you! ~~ Donna

Your Elsa Spath is just gorgeous! I have Sweet Autumn (which I've identified) and a couple of purple/blue ones that start blooming right before it does. I also have one that is white with very large flowers, maybe Henryii (there is a picture of it on my page), and one or two that are pink. I also have one of the blue ones with flowers look like small carved bells (very pretty), it bloomed earliest in the spring. I get lots of catalogs and can probably id them that way if I don't make it to the nursery. Thanks very much for the response. ~~ Donna

DJSHIP46 come the spring take a flower into your local nursery, they are great at things like that! I have an Elsa Spath it has very pretty flowers, I have a picture of it in bloom on my page. I trim it in the spring so I can see what is really dead.

Great site!!! Thank you for sharing... now if I could only remember what I planted emoticon . If I ever plant a bunch again, I have promised myself that I will tag them and keep a journal regarding their needs and placement!!!

there are so many different varieties... this site is so helpful as some you need to cut in the fall some in spring. I happen to kinda like the fuzzy brown flower balls they are interesting to look at.. but each his own

Now that all my clematis ( jackmanii) have bloomed, can i cut all dead vines off the fence? I also have General Sokorski clematis all over the fence. Or should I wait until spring. Right now they are so unsightly.
Thank You
