From what I have heard, Liverpool has changed a great deal since I lived there. I would be great to go back and see the positive changes in the city.

Janet - that is such a coincidence that you lived so near the park entrance!!! We hiked a lot - 102 degrees - we were crazy. I would love to visit France someday.
Visited Cape Hatteras National Seashore while staying in a time share in New Bern, North Carolina. Beautiful area - love the ocean. Visited Shackleford Banks for a day where horses are "monitored" but wild.

I used to live on Park Blvd. the entrance to Joshua Tree National Monument. I know that park inside out. I love it. I grew up most of my life in the high desert. I now live in the lower desert community.
FRANCE....I have always wanted to see the many landscapes, cobblestones, and castles there.

Yosemite is awesome. I also love Maine (the whole state pretty much). Another place that is a must see is Monterey California.

I like the Great Smoky Mountains. I use to live in Bryson City, NC and it's nestled in the mountains. My daughter lives in Waynesville, NC which is also in the mountains. So I still get to see the beauty of them each time I go visit her and that's often.

The Grand Canyon and Carlsbad Caverns is one of the two most awesome sites I have ever witnessed. They are both so unique and breathtaking. Those who have never seen it...please do before its all gone. I am leaving on the 16th to go back and see them with my children one last time (they went as babies and soon to leave the nest), so this is my chance to see it again after 17 years.

I have never been out of the US. Well once I was in Canada at Niagra Falls and that was pretty. But the most beautiful place I've been is the Florida Keys. I actually got engaged there and later honeymooned there. I haven't been farther west than Indiana haha so I'm excited to see the Rocky Mts some day...and the Grand Canyon. As for outside of the US I really want to see Italy and Greece! Oh and Ireland (my hubby is Irish) and England. Okay...I guess I want to tour all of Europe. When that's done I guess I'll move on to the rest of the world. Wouldn't it be amazing to be able to afford to see every place there is to see???

I am jealous. I have done very little traveling outside the US. I have done a little more insude the US. Charleston is a beautiful city to visit and explore. The history is amazing.

When I was in high school, we went on a trip to Mexico, and we stayed overnight in a town called Tasco (that's not spelled right, but I forget how, and this matches the pronunciation better!). It had cobblestone streets and quaint little shops. It was my absolute favorite place that I've ever visited for years...until I went to Maui, and even then it has stayed a very close 2nd.

Ireland and Scotland are beautiful to live in, if a little cold. Turkey is gorgeous for a summer holiday and Rome is stunning to see.
