Hi: I am having a hard time eating all that your suppose to with my schedule. I am highly active, My day starts at 6 am and usually goes till 1 or 2am. This has been a huge challenge- getting 8 hours sleep and eating all those cals. I was off Thur, Fri so it was ok, Sat a bit harder and did not make cal. count. I feel like I eat all the time! Sun is grad day for our school, I'm excited for the seniors, but scared of the grad parties. Say a prayer, and I am sure I will make the cal count Sun.
Knowing that it's ok to have a good life, to be blessed, to be grateful !!
I work 7P - 7A. I'm lucky if I can grab something to eat on my way to work. Sonic is my weakness. I'm also trying to quit eating junk food on my way home in the am. McDonald's is my other weakness. I've also tried to get healthier snacks during the long hours and my breaks. I've tried a few protein shakes and bars.
I thought I was the only one! I get up @ 7 and I go all day long with a goal of getting to bed by 2am. Saturday is my day to catch up on sleep.
It is extremely difficult for me to eat breakfast. I have been making smoothies, so that I can grab & go. I just throw in fruit, rice milk, peanut butter, hemp seed, bee pollen, beans & ice. It keeps me full until my first break at work 4 hours later.
I have a crazy schedule also... Glad to see I am not the only one that struggles.
I work for 8 hours...at a desk... no microwave just a pop machine ( blah )! I working on my Master's degree at night... 2-3 nights a week... and I also need to go to 2-4 support group meetings a week... I have a 16 year old son! In the past... I grabbed something sweet or greasy and a big o Dr.Pepper for breakfast...and lunch was usually a set down restraunt - you know the bazillion calorie meal for 4 all on one plate kinda place!! My biggest struggle right now .. is lunch. I am trying to eat breakfast at home.. only I am not a morning person and the breakfast bars aren't getting me going.. so I am starved by 1 pm when I go eat and don't really know what I should or shouldn't be eating. Any suggestions for lunch. I would like to eat something from home but don't have a way to store it or heat it!

after I get home from curves then i sometimes sleep for a couple of hours then get ready for work. but I only nap for about 2 hours or so. We do have microwaves but I take my supper on our first 15 minute break, on my 30 minute break i read a book. I have a goal for that, when I am done with the book i plan on walking the parking lot

I work 10 hr shifts and eat all my meals at work except breakfast. This means that i have to pack everything. Do you go back to sleep after taking the kids to school? Getting enough sleep is essential to losing weight.
Do you have a microwave at work so you can heat meals? You can click on my username and it will take you to my sparkpage.. over to the upper right you can see "view my food log" from there you can see what kind of stuff i am packing with me.. on the daily food log up at the top will be 2 arrows, one pointing to the right and the other to the left.. this will scroll you thru the days.

I have a very crazy schedule and am not exactly able to eat right. I get up at 6am and go to bed at 1am. I take kids to school, go to curves, come home relax, and go to work from 3:30pm until 12:15am. I am trying to eat better and have a hard time because my supper break is at 7:45pm to 8:15pm. help.
