Okay, I've been MIA for a month and a half with vacations and being lazy and sick.
Last week I only did crunches on 8-14. I did 120 crunches and 120 reverse crunches. I'm going to do better this week.

You are doing great!

400 or 500 crunches in one day - awesome. My goal is 100 regular crunches. I have just started adding reverse crunches to my day, but am only up to 20 of those. My abs are not ready for 400 or 500 (yet).

Jeanellen - I am also trying to compete with another woman in another group who does 500 crunches per day. I have told here that I would love to get to that point so she is encouraging me everyday to do more. I hope to be close to the 500 mark by the end of the challenge. Wish me luck I have to get crunching!!

Exercise - CRUNCHES
How many CRUNCHES can you do in 10 days? Keep track of how many are done. If you are unable to do crunches for some reason, please substitute with another core exercise.

Add:
LYING ADDUCTION
See the directions at the bottom. Counting for this - 10 on the right side + 10 on the left side = 10

MOTIVATION
Comment on team members blogs. You will find the team's blogs at the bottom of the team's Spark Page. You can comment on the same person more than once as long as it is a different blog.

POINTS FOR THIS CHALLENGE
10 CRUNCHES = 1 POINT
10 LYING ADDUCTION - 1 POINT
1 BLOG COMMENTS - 1 POINT

LYING ADDUCTION directions:

Starting Position
Lie on right side, with right leg straight on ground, left leg bent with foot flat on the ground either in front or behind right leg. Rest your head on right hand or extended arm. Place left hand flat on the ground in front of torso for balance.

Action
EXHALE: Keeping toes pointed forward and foot flexed, lift right leg off the floor toward the ceiling as high as you can (only a few inches). Hold here for a count of 2.

INHALE: Slowly lower toward ground without letting it touch.

Repeat all reps and switch sides.

Special Instructions
None.
