I take some "me" time everyday after my daycare kids are all gone. I turn everything off, sit in a nice comfy chair, my husband brings me a cup of coffee and I just close my eyes for about five minutes and completely relax. Otherwise my "me" time is doing QiGong once or twice a week.
My me time veries from day to day. On my weeks I am off of work and home or babysitting. My me time is being able to go to the gym or just get in a great work out. On weeks I work 4+ days per week it could be as simple as just being left alone on my hour lunch break.
Although I love the gym and it works well for my me time some days it is just not elagable as I work anywhere from 4-13 hours per day 4-6 days per week some weeks and 1-2 days other weeks. Meaning on busy weeks my me time is simply being left alone when on lunch so that I can get the little time I need to regroup and be ready for the rest of the week.

The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success.
This is a big one for me because I have alot going on in my life all the time. My time is my gym time or my mountain bike time. I just do it and my husband knows not to get in the way of that because he knows how I am if I don't exercise. I turn into a monster. It is my stress reliever. When I go to the gym I put my I phone away and put on my nano. I do not want to be disturbed or I get disturbed. LOL Always put yourself 1st or you can not help the people you need to help or be there for!! Make sure to get your me time!!!
