Make sure you are taking in enough food for the amount you are exercising. It sounds funny but if you under eat and over exercise you can actually gain weight. The other possibility is that what you are seeing is muscle tone and development. I noticed that even losing as much as I have, my calf and thigh measurements have changed very little , the only thing is instead of loose and flabby, there is actually a tight muscle there. You also may be retaining fluids. Just hang in there, it will come.
I agree. I have some great weeks where I lose almost or over 5 lbs. and then I'll have a week where I only lose .2 lbs. or I have even gained. It averages out to 2.8 lbs per week over the last 11 weeks....
The truth is, if you have been doing a lot of strength training, you may be bigger b/c your muscles may be increasing. You could also have water retention. No matter what, just keep it up....The results will come! Weigh once a week, first thing in the morning & take your measurements once a month!

I would suggest not concentrating so much on losing the weight, but developing the healthy habits and being consistent with the small action steps you have set to reach your goals. We didn't get to where we are at overnight and it takes time to get back to where we want to be.

Are you tracking your food and fitness using the trackers to ensure you are getting the right calories in and calories burned?
Many times it takes your body awhile to adjust to a change of routine.
Keep working at it one day at a time and remember slow and steady makes for longer lasting change.

I've been doing more cardio exercuse than I ever have. I also do weights 4 -5 times a week. Last week I did great with my first week of dieting, journaling etc. I went out of town before I could weigh myself, but looking at my face and the fit of my clothes, I seem to be larger! What can I do?
