I Don't know if you already do this,but you can vary the incline on the treadmill, and do short burst of running or jogging.Usually they have programs built into the machine.That keeps the body guessing, burns more cals, and builds endurance.When I was ABLE to go to the gym,(no money 4 right now) I Did lunges on the treadmill,puposefully taking longer deeper strides, on a slower speed, and steeper incline, did some arm exercises,too. If I can get cardio and some strength training in in one workout , that much the better!
To be happy and healthy in body, mind and spirit ,and set the best example for them, so that my children will be too. That's what I aspire to., to be the best ME I can be!
I walk on the treadmill, hike the trails, use free weights, and low-impact step aerobics as part of my workout routine8-12 glasses of water a day and get at least 8 hours of sleep. I drink I would like to increase my intensity and kick start the weight loss into high gear.
Any suggestions on how to increase my intensity with the tools that I use already? Any suggestions are appreciated.
