My fitness goal for May is 1,250 minutes.

As of yesterday, 5/16, I had 750. This is way more than half of my minutes, so I'm feeling pretty good about being able to reach my goal by 5/31.

Got my ten on trampoline today with grandbaby

also walked 30 minutes on our four acres with her

so i got

40 minutes today

of good exercise

not counting housework of course

hope i am posting in the right place. Got my ten minutes very late today but i got them in before midnight.

I am only counting my trampoline minutes so far but i try to count the rest also soon

This is day two so far i made it seems so tiny a goal b ut all have to start with one step .

How does snow shoveling count as cardio? After shoveling my back and knees both hurt since we live on a hill. How would I count it? All we get lately is SNOW.

Joined a week ago and set my goals for 60 min of cardio a day, 10,000 steps a day and 8 glasses of water. Now that I am accountable, I refuse to not do these things. It is unbeliebably motivating.

I've stepped it up this month. I completed 100 minutes this week and 355 minutes this month. the 10-minute workout concept has worked for me. I am using that as a base and build up from there. I am conducting a test on how many more minutes 10 minutes can turn into. So far, it has turned into 20-30 minutes as my body gets stronger and more conditioned.

I know this is not your "usual" exercise but....

My youngest son Matt (the fireman) and I spent the day together. He drove me to Chico so we could spend the day with his "Grand-ma" in ICU.

The hospital was very busy and there is construction going on, so needless to say the hospital parking was full and no spots close in view. I told him, "That's OK Matt, find any place on the street anywhere. I can walk!" YIKES!! What was I saying?? Didn't I really mean to say, "Drop me off" and go find a spot? He found a spot alright 1/2 mile away, and I did the walk! ha-ha. I was a little slower than he, but then he's a fireman!

OH there's more! I went really out of my mind while we were in the hospital. I said, "Let's take the stairs!" YIKES!! Am I loosing it?? There was an elevator right there! Who is that talking, because it sure wasn't the old me?? So, we took the stairs. I huffed and puffed, and Matt had to wait for me a few times, but by golly.... I made it!!!

1 mile round trip & 3 flights of stairs! (Glad I had a fireman close... I may have needed him for CPR!)

I OFFICIALLY started my 10 minute fitness goal today by walking to the end of my street and back. It took me 12 minutes. WooHoo.

But I have also spent an hour repotting some plants and boy did I work up a sweat.
I also attended the diabetic group my doctor refered me to and spent an hour working out with them. That was a bit much tho as I had a hypo afterwards and spent the rest of the day in bed.

Im pretty big and unfit so I gotta take it easy I think.

This is a flower for me and everyone else emoticon

I've had a good week so far. Walked 195 minutes so far, over an hour of strength exercise and today I spent an hour washing the car and another 1 1/2 pulling weeds. I'm going to take a nap now, lol.
