Do you think there will be an accountability for NOV. 2013 and on? This is Holly...(holly_rose333, and whatever other names I used for my profiles) Long time no see! In my mind when I mess up I have to start all over from the beginning, new spark name, new day, new week, new month... don't know where that issue comes from... but this is a new day and when I mess up... yes I will still be the same profile name... still holly... So sorry...I did not post the November accountability because those who had been involved seemed to have stopped checking in...myself included. Mostly everyone reports in on the daily check in thread. I will plan to start a December one for those who would like to join in!!

Tracked food today and stayed on track.
We ate out twice today but I ordered from the low cal menu.
Hit 5 on the fruits and veggies
Drank all my needed water.
I tried two new spark recipes today.

Well I have not done so well this month as I hoped. I have taken baby steps while readjusting to being back stateside. This week we have our pastor from Kenya visiting and it has been lots of meetings and speaking about the work in Kenya. And we all know at those meetings there is lots of tasty food.
Good news is my close friend just joined sparks and we are keeping each other accountable. Last night as we each reached for a cookie she asked if I was going to track it. Today I have begun tracking again even though we still have one more meeting tonight. I can make good choices today. That is my goal.

this weekend i bombed :(
fancy anniversary supper Saturday night
wasn't hungry in the am because I ate so much the night before . Then i SOOO made up for it the rest of the day..sigh.

It has not been as good of a week as I would have liked. Hubby and I shared more time in the Word this week that has been good. Some walking, some tracking, but then lots of stress stuff and things did not go as planned.
Time for some changes for the next week. I did check into the local pool this week and found they will not be open until Oct 26. But I have requested a month pass.

been a good week .Stayed on target for the most part (We shall not speak of last Sundays Canadian Thanksgiving feast). kept up with the excise (ya me !). the strength vidio I have is brutal ! I modify the modified moves !! but I kept at it !

Good evening,
I only ran a training run of 4.5 miles on Monday & ran a 5k yesterday. I didn't do anything else. I need to put a better effort in this week as the Army 10 miler is quickly coming up.

My eating is healthy one day & not so much the next. I did make the choice to stay away from ice cream so that's a good thing. I need to do much better in this area as well this week.

Daily devotions & quiet time is on track.

Happy Sunday!

Stayed within calorie range this weekend...but not really with the healthiest of foods...but happy to be within range.

No exercise. Other than running around in the church during the funeral dinner we put on. I did set up a walking date with a new friend for wed and fri at 8am

didn't get in my normal bible study yesterday or today...but feel I still prayed and experienced God!

Good morning!

Yesterday, stayed on track calorie wise. had my quiet time.

Did not do any exercise...yet I made a plea of sorts on FB and a pretty quiet, shy gal at church commented that she would walk with me! Yay!! So..hoping this happens.

October goals

tracking nutrition at least 5 days a week

walking vidio 4x a week

strength /cardio vidio 2x a week

aim for 8-9 hours sleep a night

water and quiet time hasn't been an issue

On track the last several days. Yesterday I was in a car most of the day so I didn't get exercise...but I did park further away at rest areas and such for brief stretches and jaunts.

Stayed with my daughter last night and she does not have a scale, so I didn't weight myself this morning. I will tomorrow and that is also my weigh in day.

I think I will add my weight each day at the end of my post. I am weighing daily, but only recording Friday's weigh in.

Off to Indy to meet up with Julie! Yahoo!!

My eating was good yesterday and I got in 10 minutes of some exercise. Have yet to do my Bible study today. Will pray alot in the car on the drive...possibly study before bed.

Hi Gals,

I decided to go for a walk yesterday at a nearby lake/park. I walked 2.2 miles in 38 minutes. Pretty slow compared to my norm...but my excuse was that I was constantly stopping to take pictures!! It was a pretty fall day and the colors are gorgeous right now. It was such a nice time!

I also loaded an app on my phone called Endomondo. It mapped my walk, tracked my steps and audio would tell me my progress. It tells me how many calories burned and what MPH I was walking. I figured out that I can link it to my facebook...so when I start a workout it posts it to Facebook and if my friends "like" it or comment...I will hear cheers and encouragement as I go!!! How fun is that!! Also...it is a free app for apple or android smartphones. If anyone else joins it...please look me up as a friend! I don't recall if it is under my name or a nickname. My name is Michelle Regan, and if it is a nickname, it is probably mrsregan or mrsregan85 (my standards).

So far so good on my goals.

My goals for October is to do Strength Training 3 days a week, and run 3 days a week (weather permitting). My goal would also be to lose 5 pounds. I will try to post my weight once a week throughout the month.
For eating, I want to concentrate on eating slowly, and eliminate nighttime snacking and lowering my carbs for the evening meal, eating more protein and veggies.

Goals for October:

1) Check into SP every day

2) Track exercise, food, and water intake

3) 10 minutes exercie 4x/week ... at least that is my starting point...I can exercise longer just not shorter

4) Daily Bible study, prayer and journaling

5) Post my weight at the end of each post on this thread, record weight on weigh in thread on Fridays

Good morning,
My October goal is to check in on SP once a week (Sundays).

Quiet time- continue with this daily.

Exercise goal - to train for my upcoming races -as close to the training schedule as I possibly can.

Eating - to try to eat as healthy as possible - this will be easier to do once the house is completed (and its getting closer each day!)

Weight- to hold steady where I am until the new year. (I have already needed to replace many items in my closet - I need to hold where I am & give our budget a break!).

I believe that is it for me for now.

My weight has been going up as I sit. I need more walking time as my pedometer hardly gets any steps. I want to work up to doing at least 5000 steps a day. Right now I get about half that some days.

Hi ladies...she says with a red-shame-filled face.

I have been terrible this month!! When I am done putting up the new threads, I am going straight to my calendar and writing SP on my daily list for each day. I WILL check in daily...if I fail please come find me...email, SP message, text, facebook....I really need your help to be faithful.

I will spend some time tomorrow praying, setting some goals for the month and updating my SP page.
