Hello on this last day of September.

How did everyone do with their goals? I didn't do so well with my goal of checking in weekly. For October, my goal will be to check in on Sunday afternoons/evenings since lately that seems to be the day I have available to be online.

As far as weight loss, my goal for the rest of 2012 is to hold steady and not really be concerned abotu losing. I figured I would give my body time to adapt to this weight and then in January start again with a new weight loss goal.

I have been reading about running and learned that it's best to not take a long time off from running. So, as long as I can keep my foot & leg feeling well and the weather cooperates, I will strive to run through this winter.

I'm sure the upcoming holidays will keep me on my toes with trying to keep with the healthier eating. I will try my best to stay away from the "junk" food but when it's the only option available, it's really, really hard!

See you all in October.

Good evening,

Ha, ha with the checking in once a week! I didn't do so well with that, did I? The trip to GA kind of interrupted that for me. I think I am just now getting back into the swing of life at home again. And wouldn't you know it, fall is here with its shorter days. Fighting a bit of depression that goes along with this time of the year for me.

I've been struggling with getting my training runs in and that Army 10 miler is very quickly approaching. And then after that race, I have the 4 hour race the first Saturday of November. Not sure how I'll do at that one - I signed up on a whim on that one.

Eating - I haven't been following my eating plan exactly but my weight is holding very steady so I haven't been too concerned about the eating. If I start putting the weight back on, then the eating will have to change.

I haven't lost any more weight but I'm not stressing about that either as I figure I didn't gain it all at once so I'll focus on maintaining for right now & perhaps set a new goal for the new year.

I went through my fall/winter clothing and was able to again pull some clothing out of the stuff I had. I have really eliminated alot of spring/summer clothing - to the point of really not having much to put away for the winter.

If there is an October thread started, I will try to do better. (And once this house is finished, life should get a little more "normal" again.) I have been trying to limit my time online and I have to say that in September, I was online very, very little (hence that lack of conversation from me on this thread).

God bless each one.

It looks like this group has lost momentum this month.

We just got back from Kenya last night. I weighed in today and have maintained even in the midst of high carb diet. I guess it was all the walking around the compound that helped out.
I plan to get back on track by Oct 1. If the accountability post continues I will join you again.

Hello,

I don't think I posted any goals for August but will try to reach some in September.

My exercise goal is to: continue with training for the Army 10 miler, using Hal Hidgon's 1/2 marathon training app. The app uses 3 day for running (2 shorter runs and 1 longer run) and cross training 2 days out of the week, leaving 2 rest days.

My eating goal is: to get back to my no grains, sugar, processed foods of the P10 eating.

To maintain my daily devotional time - this will be severely tested next week while I'm in GA.

Currently I'm not sure where I'm weighing in with just returning from a few days of camping - I will weigh in tomorrow & assess the goal from there.

Not sure I'll be able to post daily but will try to at least check in weekly.

Hello all. I am checking in today but will be taking a Spark break for most of the month. We will be heading to Kenya on Wednesday and not sure about connections to check in. Last year they were good but one never knows.
I did not do well with last month goals. I maintained but no loss I just had too many things going on getting ready for the trip.
I will be back the end of September. Then we plan to be home for a few months and hopefully back on track. Pray for us if you think of it.
Have a blessed month.

I didn't post goals here last month, only on another of my teams. I wanted to lose 7# and get in 1000 fitness minutes. I got in the exercise, but did not lose the 7#, only part of it.
So, I will increase the fitness minutes goal to 1200, and hopefully, that will help me reach the 7# loss this month, Lord willing!

Well, ladies...I failed in my goals last month, failed in keeping up with the thread here...failing myself and failing you. Hope you will forgive me...and I chose to forgive myself.

My goals will be more simple this month...and I strted them a week ago tho.

1) Replace two meals with Protein nutrition bars

2) Weigh daily

3) Get some exercise 3x a week

I started this a week ago at 183.4 and am today at 178. I have not been belly hungry...just mouth hungry which is probably not a food I am truly hungering for...Jesus will help me with all that!

Sign up for the month, tell me your goals and I will try hard to keep up with you all.
