Hello,
I am limiting my computer time but I will try to check in at least once a week starting this coming Sunday. Other than that, I don't have anything really to post other than I am trying to prepare for the Army 10 miler that will be here before I'm ready I'm sure. Have a 5k to run this Saturday.

For the week
Time in Word .. daily (sometimes very short but there)
Journal...2 days
Exercise...3days
Track food...1 day
Water intake...64oz..3 days
Sleep habits...still need work.

Hopefully next week will be better.

My first week stateside did not go as well as I had hoped. There were several unexpected events.

This week ...
Monday was a travel day
Tuesday .... I met goal on 1, 3, 6, and plan on 7hrs sleep too.
.
1) Daily time in the Word...
2) Journal 4x a week
3) Exercise in some form 5 days a week
4) Get below 190 by end of month
5) Track food 5x week
6) Get back on track with water 64oz a day
7) Practice better sleep habits. (7hrs night)

And check in often....

I did well in July with exercise, but food was so-so. That being said, I lost 1.8 pounds in July. I know I could have done better. My goal for August is to eliminate night time snacking, continue to get my exercise in (burning an average of 500 calories per day 6 days a week). However, my son's wedding is on the 17th, so the last half of August I know I won't be able to get my normal amount of exercise in and my food will be off a little. So weight wise. I would like to maintain this month. Last October I spent in the States and gained 10 pounds. I don't want that to happen this time. It would be nice to not gain at all and great if I could lose, but I want to be realistic.
I will take my food scale with me, but probably not my bathroom scale. I have done that before, but we already have a suitcase full and none of what is in there are anything we will be bringing back. So, basically, no room.

Each Sunday I weigh in and each week I want to lose weight, even if only a small amount of weight. I have been successful the past three weeks. That is my August goal as well. Lose weight every week.

Sunday 7-29 253.4 pounds.

"Not Perfection but Progress" in my lifestyle changes.

July was pushed back because of travels but now we are stateside again and I am ready to press forward.

Goals for August...
1) Daily time in the Word
2) Journal 4x a week
3) Exercise in some form 5 days a week

July goals were:

1) Track food every day in July...

I did every day except the last 4 days!!!!

2) Lose 5.2# (I am 1.2# behind in my origial goal to lose 1#/week for 31 weeks...so this month goal reflects that deficit plus the 4 weeks/4# for this month)....

I lost zero

3) Crank up my exercise to 4x/ week....

I basically accomplished this

4) Improve upon my quiet time...missing 9 days in June is unacceptable...everyday is the
goal!...

Missed 5 days...improved


August goals:

1) Track food everyday and STAY IN RANGE

2) Hit 172 on the scale

3) Continue exercising AT LEAST 4x/week

4) Continue to improve upon quiet time
