HaHa! I'm regretting getting my DH to join now. He's constantly asking me questions about how much to eat and how to log things in. AND he has twice as many calories per day!

I talked my husband into joining SP. He has a few pounds to lose (although he won't admit it) and he needs to eat healthier. He likes the idea of being able to see where he needs to improve nutritionally. I think it's one of the best things I could have done for him!

I'm a big believer in Karma. I believe that the world has an "energy net" just like the Internet and when you do something nice to someone it actually sends waves through the net that is connected to that person and you will benefit from it. Perhaps not right away but when you need it. Conversely if you do something bad to someone, that stops the net from vibrating in your favor.

Since starting to think this way, I've done what I could for people whenever I possibly could. Random acts of kindness, just because. I'd make dinner for my family and pack up a plate for a neighbour. I've taken in stray cats. I've offered people money. I do it without a thought of "reward" but knowing that my account for karma is balanced. I've gotten lots of "stuff" in return and I'm convinced it works.

That being said, I've not been on this list for this team for a while so I didn't post what I've done yet so I'll have to remember some things.

Today, I went for a bike ride with my 14 yr old son. He wanted to go for a LONG ride even though he isn't in great shape, and it is hot and he insists on wearing black jeans. I rode at his pace mostly, or I'd run ahead and wait for him.

Yesterday I brought my sister take out dinner as we buried my rat in her yard. I took my boyfriend with me as he doesn't have a car and that let him get a chance to visit his sister who lives just down the road from mine.

Anyway. I am so blessed in my life that I'm pretty sensitive to when I'm being asked to be someone else's angel. What a cool challenge.

Yesterday I served supper at the church for our largest fundraising event. I started at 3:30 and didn't eat my own dinner until 7:00. Not only did I help raise over $5000 for the church (we served over 570 not including children) but I think I burned about 300 cals. I also ate the strawberry shortcake for dessert so I think I about broke even!

A man today with a full grocery cart asked if I wanted to go in front of him because I only had one item. I told him no that he could go ahead. I think I may be getting desperate!

Hee hee, I must be mean, too! I'm so busy getting ready to go on vacation I don't even have time to be nice to myself!

Of course, perhaps I'm just so naturally nice all the time I don't even notice it...

Wow, I didn't do anything nice for anybody yesterday either. Or anything nice for anybody yet today. Maybe I am just a mean person :(

I have been on the receiving end of dinner while moving and there is nothing better!

As for yesterday, I didn't do anything nice for anybody...in fact I was down right crusty. I will have to be extra nice today :)

Today I made supper for my best friend and her family. They're in the middle of trying to pack up their house for a move (not far, luckily!) and she's also training for a new job. I thought they would appreciate the break from cooking in the midst of all that.

Yesterday I bought face paints so that when I go to the outdoor Canada day party our subdivision has I can paint faces for the kids!

I think that this will be a good one for me, too. I think I sometimes take advantage of the people around me, and I don't just want to lose weight, I want to be an all around better person.

I really like this one. I didn't do so well with June's challenge but I think I can do this.

Everyday in the month of July do something nice for someone. Sparkguy is always saying that being healthy involves more than eating and exercise and I agree. Do something nice for someone (it doesn't have to be big) and post it here everyday. And just so everyone else knows, my husband is always telling spouses count as someones too!
