The grandkids didn't want to go...they'd rather swim. Our neighbors had a big BBQ for the holiday. And that was that.

Well, it was wonderful, the weather perfect. The crowds manageable and yet, I never did get my Tosdada, but found a lovely deli near the convention center that had great sandwich and beans & rice....... Yummo..
I did 3 of 4 days this year and saw a lot of fantastic bands with some super music.
Yes Flambeau, one of our most favorites.

We planned on going all day tomorrow...but after all the festivities of today (Best birthday EVER!) we're worn out and are staying home to get done what we DIDN'T do today!

We may be bringing the grandkids on Monday, however. Glad you and Dick are having a good time. Flambeau?

DAY TWO for me.
Hope you have a great time. Crowds weren't bad yesterday and had a great time at the ZYDECO PARTY last night. We haven't decided an itinery yet for today, but I know for sure I am going to get a great tosdada salad at FIREHOUSE LOT.. Missed it yesterday.

Wish there was some way to connect, but just too many things can deter best intentions. So go for the music and have some fun.

My hubby and I bartended for about 15 years, and have such great memories and stories! In fact, that is where we met!

We're planning on going at least one day, though I have to admit, none of my favorite bands are going to be there this year....sob, sob...
