Glad to hear it, LAWMOMSPLACE. A pedometer can really help motivate us to walk even more. I hope it works out that way for you...keep on moving!

Maintenance is a challenge with weigh up and down. Progress is slow, but certain.

Well, this was kind of a bust, wasn't it? LOL

I just cannot get in the habit of wearing my pedometer regularly, which makes tracking steps a bit difficult. I'll continue with the Wii-related challenges in other teams and let this team challenge go for now.

Feel free to speak up if you check in on this thread and want to see a challenge resume. I'm always happy to do it if you join me.

Clearly, for last week MVMEME got in lots more steps than I did. That makes her the walking winner for the week. Way to go!

New week, new tracking. Now, where did I hide that pedometer?

Alright, Team, here we go...walking our way into fitness...

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

We're starting a new weekly challenge on Sunday April 25. The goal is simple: use your pedometer and get in as many steps as you can. We will run it from Sunday through Saturday each week so if you have one bad week, you can always get back to it and start again the next week. There will be goodies for all participants on a weekly basis.

So, whether you want to try to have the top spot in steps recorded in the challenge or if you just want to make or beat your personal goal, let's get walking, stepping or running.

Report your number of steps daily or as often as you can in this thread and keep a running total for the week too. Use a format something like this:

Weekly total steps:

Enjoy!
