ok but use low fat sour cream and turkey meat. Still taste great

This sounds like a great recipe. I will have to give it a try (I'd do it tonight but have to wait until next payday to buy the sour cream. Shucks and I just went to the store yesterday and spent all my grocery money.

2 lbs. Ground beef, browned and drained 1 teaspoon pepper
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce 2 cups mashed potato flakes
1 small onion, chopped 1 1/2 cup sour cream
2 cloves garlic, minced 2/3 cup water
1pkg. (10 oz) frozen mixed vegetables 1 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon salt

Combine first seven ingredients. Pour into stonware. Combine potato flakes, sour cream and water. Spread over beef mixture. Cover; cook on LOW for 8 hrs. (HIGH for 4 hrs). Sprinkl with chees 30 minutes before serving
