My main IBS D triggers are eggs and lactose. Having found a lactose-free probiotic and was having good results. Suddenly the D has started up again and I have scoured the cupboards searching for a culprit. I have recently be using Splenda (around 2 teaspoons daily) and wonder if the maltodextrin has the same effects as aspartame. I will stop using and go back to Stevia (which did not upset my digestion) but just wondered if anyone on this forum has any knowledge or experience.
